why not...there is nothing to be ashamed of... when u saw Chang...didnt u say to your self..."Oh..hes chinese" so i am just asking...because i was curious

The reason we have so many problems in India is because a lot of people have difficulties accepting people who look different than them. Instead we should be glad our country is blessed with so many different types of people like the 7 colours of the rainbow.

yes..i agree....we shld celebrate our differences not try to make them wider....and i have always felt tht ppl who come from eastern states of india, ie. manipur, mizoram, sikkim, arunachal pradesh, etc..feel tht the main stream ppl do no accept them as one of their own....which is sad.,...

But to answer your query, he is of Nepali origin. However, the people of Nepali origin are also of diverse descents. Some ethnic Nepali groups are of Tibeto - burman (Mongoloid) origin, some have Indo-aryan origin and yet some others are of Mixed origin. These are 3 main categories of Nepali ethnic groups.

So, Prashant's ethnic group, which is the "Tamang" community has an exclusive Tibeto - burman (Mongoloid) ancestry.
