So in today's episode, Suhit was in the bottom 4 and Alisha was asked who she would wish to see safe. Now, we all know that Alisha is going to pick Suhit, even though there were better singers than him in the bottom 4. So, how would Alisha justify picking Suhit over Shantanu in particular, especially as Javedji pointed out, Alisha praised Shantanu's performance quite heavily in last night's piano round. Here is what I think Alisha was thinking during that looooong time when deciding how to justify Suhit being saved.
"Hmmm Who would I save from being eliminated. Well, ofcourse, it has to be my darling rock star Suhit. Oh, but if I say Suhit, then Javedji is going to jump all over me. I've got to come up with a good reason for saving Suhit. Okay, let me think. Oh, I know, Suhit should be saved cause he's such a hotty! No, no, I can't say that, I need a better reason than that. Hmm, how about, Suhit should be saved cause he looks good and is a real hottie. NO, no, that's the same thing, got to come up with something else. Um, let's see, how about, Suhit should be saved because he is a cool dude and super hot! No, no, that's no good, I've got to get off the hottie mind track. Um, oh I could lie and say that Suhit is the better singer of the four, no, even I don't believe that. Damn, I'm back to the hottie... Oh, I've got it, this is Indian Idol and singing doesn't count as much as looks, so I'll simply say that Suhit should be saved because he is a better Indian Idol than the other three. I know it's the same thing as saying he's a hottie but maybe nobody will notice..."
And so, finally, after thinking it over, Alisha managed to come up with her VERY WEAK reason for saving Suhit.
By the way, note to Miss Alisha, Indian Idol is a singing comptetion, not a hottie competition. Wake up woman!
