What’s with the accident talk?

Why did Prashant mention that if he has an accident or something happens then his family will be shattered? Isn't it true for all? Why stoop to such low level to get votes? It looked like if he gets voted out then his life would end. At least he has another job.

This is a singing platform so get votes based on your performance instead of begging for it through sympathy. Prashant is a good singer and so far he has always sang well compared to many still these talks are lame.

Yeah I didn't quite get why Prashant talked about accidents. Since the number of contestants in each episode is decreasing, they are trying to fill in by putting in random info about the singers. To be fair to Prashant, everyone has sobstories with Sony chooses ro highlight. Rehan wants to marry off his sisters, Smita wants to fulfill fathers dream, etc. Sometimes an attempt for sympathy can come out wrong, like Prashant's, and then they get flak for it. These guys don't seem to be good diplomats, they seem to be saying all kinds of arbitrary things that may turn the janta off. Sing, people, sing, I'm begging you, please don't talk.

I mentioned that in another post. I was quite put off with those mentions. Everyone is here to show talent. By highlighting few sob stories Sony is bringing sympathy votes🤢. What if a person say Chang who is well off and sings well and then doesn't get votes?

Ashu, OK fine but what has that got to do with Indian Idol? We talk about regionism but differentiating contestants on the basis of rich and poor is bad too. Prashant is a good singer with no background in singing, he is talented, down to earth👏. But sometime these type of talks have negative effect on people.

It is possible that he mentioned his accident thing in a different context but Sony made it look like if I don't get votes then I might . Editors are too busy behind doors.

He just is a poor Sepoy...and I believe he got the job in place of his father who expired. I think what he meant is that his greatest fear is that if something bad happened to him who would take care of his family...he said it in this haphazard way coz we cant expect him to speak like Javed Akhtar...I think the channel is responsible for showing this kind of footage to manipulate votes...God only knows how many tapes they have shot with each contestant and what they will edit and show in their twisted perverse way... 😡
