Idol 3: Singing wise

Friends let me tell you first that I am more loyal to Indian Idol than any other musical show. But so far I am quite disappointed with the singing talent on Indian Idol 3.

I agree that there are some good male contestants like Chang, Suhit, emon etc, but they are not "extremely good". Last year in the piano round we had the likes of Amey and Karunnya. The female contestants are also good, may be they are better than the males, but so far only Shifa'a singing is what I call "extremely good". If you look at other similar shows, you will realise that SRGMP is on the top as far as singing talent is concerned. I can't say anything about VOI because the auditions are still going on. However, extertainment wise Indian Idol 3 still is the best.

Agreed. I don't feel Suhit deserved to go to Mumbai, let alone Top 28. Although the creators are saying that they are deviating from X-Factor and style bits, I think they still value that more than singing. 😕

Lets wait for the finalists.

the talent is not THAT horrible....but they havent hit the par like Karunya did in ID2...unfortunately janta did not let him go further and thats whut i fear will happen again.....cause in the end its the x-factor that gets voted on

the girls are pretty good this season and i am more impressed with them then the boys....im hoping the agli indian idol will be a girl...so girls...rock on!

good ones like suhit? 😕 i think the talent this year is pretty good... 👏 ofcourse no one is as great as amey and karu...but this was just their first round, they might improve in the upcoming rounds 😃

We are def going to constantly compare to last year i knw.

But this years girls piano rounds were.......thanda. Remember last year? Monali, Antara, Meenal, Neha and even other good singer,s it was awesome!!!

This year's contestants are not that bad.

We are just focusing on the best contestants of last year. But Sagar / Neha / Yashashree / Ravi were also there among the finalists, remember ? This time we've not yet reached the finals. We have just seen the performances of the piano round. So I think a little patience is needed.

Moreover Anuj was there in the list of top 3 finalists last year 😆 😆 😆

I dont know what u are talking about. I am really having a problem picking my favourite this year. I like all the guys accept Suhit and Amit Jain and i also like Richa and couple other girls. 👏 👏 👏 Yeah nobody can replace Amey but common they can come closer to him though.

i am also having hard time chossing my favorites...i really lyk emon..but i lyk parleen meiyang and prasant also....dont know whom to choose...

i dont lyk suhit at all...he wasnt good last nite...
