as far as janta's decision is concerned I am not representing them all... I was speaking for janata as I vote at crutial stages

if you say Smita is good & Janata is Wrong DO NOT convey same thing huh

Not to worry Sarah abt what anyone says! You are a part of the Janata and when the entire Janata is held responsible for someone's fav losing out, it was right on your part to say "Janata is not to be blamed"

I am not allowed to vote but imagining if I had been and let's say I voted for Ankita coz I liked her, Whatever little money I might spend voting I will make sure I vote for her and not for anyone else.....In this scenario if Smita loses out that does not mean I do not consider her a good singer

thats right buddy!!! we are not here to save all, right!! if I had to vote yesterday then I would've voted for Puja or Aisha as I liked their performances... there is no such rule that says vote for all ... and if anyone blames janata for this then I am always here to defend as I am among janata agar itni hi fikr thi toh khud hi vote kar lete saare Hindustaan ko dosh dene ki kya baat thi!!🤢

very well said.....qazi the joker...and the list continues with suhit this time 😕 ...i dont know y these channel wala want more of spice....playing with the lives of contestants who think music is their life.think if it would have happened to u...when u know u r a better singer than some stupid with lovely looks...and u r voted out...what abt ur dreams?

and im very ashamed to think there r so many people out thr who think tht looks play an important part as well.agreed that indian idol is abt selecting the perfect performer...but atleast along with looks...ur singing capability must match as well...if u r in a comeptition..u better be the best!what is the use of having loads of attitude,charming looks...but no singing when its a singing competition n not a fashion show.yes,these people who r not good lookers have no right to be in such a place...coz their body of work is not respected...playback singing is more suited...but then this platform is a path for all thse strugglers to bollywood...whch other wise would have taken years to reach.
thanks to music directors that still people like karunya,smitha have hopes...or else music would have been dead long back 🤢

Defintiely it's not your problem to save all of them....or for that matter to save anyone of them...It's not like it's your moral duty😛
If I watch Indian Idol, I am not watching it for any moral or ethical messages of always voting for who is considered best by judges or others. I will vote for someone who I like best, whose singing/performance whatever I like best and I enjoy most!😃

And as expected my choice will not be same as everyone else coz if everyone has same choices then what's the whole point of the contest? The judges should just pick and choose whomsoever they like.....

I do not appreciate you making threads about me & making these posts directed at me, becuase I know you're just desperate to get some attention.

Before you go shooting off on people, go read my last post. Not once did I say anything abput Smita's vocal capabilites, I do know I said that I found her Top 14 performance unimpressive, which I still stand by. If you come here and start blaming the whole country for not voting YOUR favourite, that is something I do have a problem with & I will stand up for that.

Lastly, you make it sound as if I have something against Smita..Good on her for getting standing ovations! I saw the performance and she sure as hell deserved that standing ovation!

And please, before you make threads and posts, please get your facts straight, because if I recall correctly neither did Sarah make any comments about Smita.

Best is very relative....what is best suited to you is not to me....Who you like best might not be my favourite contestant

I think this platform is more than just a platform for strugglers. These 16-17 year olds are definitelt not struggling as of yet....IMO it's good for them that they are getting exposure at such a young age through this platform. They might go into playback singing eventually and I will say if that is the only criteria for judging, then Idol people should move this from television to the radio right from the start. No matter how idealistic I may want to sound, I am affected by their performance. I am not closing my eyes while watching the show. Good singers definitely deserve a chance but just singing is not the lone criterion here if you are getting chosen coz of your performance on stage. It is not a fashion show, agreed but it's not a pure talent show either. Coz had it been that, the public should not have been included coz not everyone in the public is an accomplishe musician to judge the good from the bad!
