I just caught up with the video. Here are my views on Richa:

Firstly Richa is very talented and for all the right reasons she needs to be in top 12. However her behaviour in the last episode was not very pleasant. But knowing how the editors can make these contestants look bad or good, I just feel that the whole situation has been manipulated to make her look some sought of an arrogant person.

Theres are people who vote for Indian Idol based on their singing talent which is what most of us in this forum are, however majority of the voting public look at a no. of factors along with singing, likability being one of them.

Agreed that Richa is young and may be a little immature to handle such situations but she should understand that the next round is just not about her alone, its about a team. She cannot behave like this and put herself in a fix and most importantly she should realise that whatever she does has a bearing just not on her future in II but also on her partners future.

I agree with u ..but I think Sony manipulated Richa's problem to increase TRPs... maybe there must be sumthing else in the guy that put her off...maybe he really stinks or maybe he smokes that she doesnt like to smell.. maybe there is some other problem and if we were in her place we would do the same..believe me... she is just a kid..only 15 years old.. I thin krather than conentrating on her personal problems or attitude we shud focus on her singing with is simply superb!!! am sure everyone agrees to that one atleast...

guys, guys please take a break from Richa and Prashant debate till this weekend when we find out what exatly had happened between them......it might be that we are making a mountain over a mole(hope i said that right 😆 )

this is all sony's doing not Richa's please don't bash her 😭 i ilike her and prashant hope they become really good friends later on(which am sure they already are)

RIcha is class A grade singer. Initial audition round I found her innocent and cute. She is only 16 so I am going to cut her some slack. She needs huge attitude adjustment. This round is for singing with partner and she needs to learn to be good team player, and co-operate with the partner. What I saw how she behaved was not very nice but down right rude. Although as singer She is very high on list. Hope she does not let her fans down by more of such dramas. I hope she realizes what she is doing or else she will be on same list as Arpita from FG was pronto.

Best wishes to her in changing her attitude and singing.

Do you really consider by just seeing the clippings today that she has attitude problems? Or is it early to judge on this yet?
i think it's fine to judge now because she was really rude to him ( if she already thinks she's the best or superior then others then if she becomes Indian idol that would be horrible.

Is it that she is too young for the outer world that she seems uncomfortable gelling with male contestants ? Or is it something else?
it could be but she needs to understand the situation and deal with it the best she can. that could be a reason but she needs to keep respect for elders what about that?

Does a contestant's behavior make a difference in their singing/overal performance?
yes it does a lot
our Idol needs to be nice, and a good singer if they think they are better then others then they won't go a long way!

Why does a contestants behavior make them either a favorite, or a non-favorite in a singing competition?
because they need to have social skills

How can this affect the voting pattern?
by alot. because she won't get many votes if she's a mean person at age 16!

All what is seen, is not true...any thoughts on this?
i don't know but when they showed what's coming up it all seems real and if she keeps it up she won't go a long way 😭

when you are on TV , all of your qualities may be judged.

you might be a good singer , but if your personality is not good, you should be in the radio , instead of TV. do you vote for someone who has a criminal record ? no. same way, you dont like someone who is immature and discriminates other contestant.

i have seen a lot of 15 year olds , some of them are as matured any older people.

Sony could have hide or cut these scenes , but in that case we would not have got the whole picture

I think its too early to judge however what she did was wrong.

I doubt its the uncomfortable factor. If it was that, why was she talking to the other trained singer?😕 I agree she is young however im younger to her and even i feel what she did was wrong.

It does not. If ur a star, u have to keep aside your personal and proffesional life. However it defintly makes the vibes that we get from her come in a different way.

Because people also want to know how are they as a person. We dont want to have a star who has an attitude problem.

She would not be able to gather the amounts of votes she could have previously bec people have started seeing her in a different light.

Maybe the issue was exegerated and we failed to see richa's point of view in all this.😳

i dnt think it is about her being immature becuase she is young. In my opinion it is more about giving respect and she didnt give that much respect to the guy. I'm also young but i wouldn't tlk to any1 like da way she talked to the guy. With being a gud singer, you have to repect ppl. Furthermore, like some ppl are sayin that we shudn't judge her on the basis of that clip but she based some1 else just on the basis of how she percieved the guy.
And also you have to see the consequenses of her action even though maybe it was done unintentionally. Will the guy loose his chance to go to the next level because he didn't get enough practice with Richa as she was being immature and feeling uncomfortable. She may go to the next level as every1 knws she is a gud singer but wat bout the guy? And that is the question to think about.

to tell u the truth i have lyk mixed reactions rite now....i think we all agree that richa is a good singer and may be she is trying her best to get into other round...and that is completely understandable...but while doin so she is completing ignoring prasant....perhaps it mite not be a attitude problem..it mite be a selfishness which one shows in reality show...i dont have any prb with that....everyone has to think abt themselves...but it is very unfair for prasant to have such a parter...he was lyk so innocent when he said u know the lyrics but i dont..so let me write it down...but she totally ignored him...i am see prasant on the next round and richa as wel...so yeah best of luck to them.
