I want to put a disclaimer here :

I'm not intended to criticise the Indian Idol Show!

reality show r for fun and enjoyment so enjoy them.

What I tell is What happened over there - 100 % Unbiased - Truth

My idea is only one :

To bring the truth to the innocent youngsters.

They put their whole life, future & career for such shows - As I did.

They have their dreams, hopes & pure emotions attached to the show

Of which the Channel makes Crores of rupees.

I dont want any more youngster give up his studies

or to fight with his family

or to put at stake his future

or to get hurt upto extreme levels just for Indian Idol or such other show.

That's it.

dear vijey,
no need for any apologies.. that was how u felt that things were there.. in fact thanx for making the youth realize that II is not a bed of roses.. there are thorns... but then that is your view of the whole thing..
ask those people who made it to the finals and their life have gone for a topsy turvy change...
all the fan clubs we maintain here in this and FG section atleast are of those people who till yesterday were nobody, but are making it big today, thanx to this show....
so it is everyone's own experience... no offence...

hmmm...well we all knew that ii was biased...but we were hoping for a better result this year...

i guess nothing has changed!!

itz nice that u have posted this...but styl there are many die hard ii fans who styl believe in it...and they wud go to any extent to be apart of this show...until they dont face the reality themselves...they wont believe it...

like u and parashar, im sure u guyz knew about the bias that goes on...but styl...u had dreams...styl u had that faith in urselves....and so u went ahead with it even in the 3rd season...i guess many ppl will styl be crazy about it...until they dont have to go thru wat u guyz went thru...and same for the audience...

the audience watches it mostly for entertainment...as long as they get it...they are happy...but they do not realize that sum very deserving singers are losing their jobs, their careers, their education becuz of such shows...

even after all this...ppl will styl be interested in the show...itz sad but true

well what I think is, whether the experience is bitter, sweet, or bitter-sweet depends on how you will view it tomorrow ....

Vijey, u can look at the glass as half empty, and indulge in your grief or you can look at as half full and heave a sigh of relief that thank goodness u learnt it now rather than later when it would have been difficult to turn your life around 😃 ...

U learnt that

1) life is not bed of roses for the aspiring artists and

2) in today's world everything is treated as "commodity" , even art 😕 ....

3)U can pursue your dream outside Indian Idol but there is no harm having a career to fall back on.

4)Entertainment industry is very cut throat and shrewd and everybody looks at the numbers !!!!!!

Last but not the least

5) this experience has made u more mature , taught u to hang in there and made u tougher mentally....

So just grasp all the positives from all this experience and move ahead with your passion...Life has just started for u buddy 😃

And no need to apologise ..I am sure for most , your experience is an eye opener.... 😃

I just pray to god ke they totaly edit my footage & dont show me at all!

They can go to any extent of manipulating...

If they cut something humourous out of me than it would be big loss of face for me!
