her original voice is western and she is the best in business today. in yesterday's episode sunidhi chauhan herself said that she is not trained in classical yet she is a magnificient singer. so it is not neccessity to be learned in classical to be a good singer. a good example is sohini mishra is learned in classical but is giving one poor performance after another..

I like poorvi but she has to take many births to learn singing. she is getting only moral support so that she could improve for the reasons best known to dishonest or honest judges.If you or somebody falsely declare her winner. It does not matter to audience. continuously she is not getting votes.

I absolutely agree with you, it isn't necessary for one to be able to sing all sorts of songs or to be able to excel in all areas in her comfort zone shes a brilliant singer.

It is true that there are singers out there that make a living by singing 1 tye of song. Competitions like idol and others look for versatile singers. Its true not every singer can sing all type of song but the wider scope of versatility you have, the better. The mark of a true singer is to use his or her training to its fullist potential and sing different types of songs vecause even if not all songs they sing are ones that match their voice, they embody its styl. A singer can have a comfort zone but they should step out and try something else without bringing their favorite style in to it. Poorvi is good at western numbers and its ok, but hypothetically sppeaking, she should not take a ghazal song and sing it like a western one.

I was watching the II6 today and she sang a song "Nainon Mein Sapnaa Sapanon Mein Sajanaa
Sajanaa Pe Dil Aagayaa Ke Sajanaa Pe Dil Aagayaa" ,,, yuck, what an ugly performance by Poorvi.. although the same song i really loved by Vipul. I dont even know what is she doing in Indian Idol..

Im sick of all the poorvi haters. She has a faboulous voice and I hope she makes it to the top 3. but then i again Im not from india. Most likely someone boring like Vipul will win.

Ploorvi devastates ambiance with her horrible voice.which coerce me to close my TV simultaneously..
