😕 This season of Idol is more of a screaming contest then a singing contest. The best screamer hands down is Purvi. She constantly gets ranked high for her screaming. The actual singers get ranked below her or have been kicked out like the last two weeks. If it were a legitimate contest, then screamers like Purvi would have never been in the show... I am tired of listening to her westernization of Hindi songs... 😕 someone please tell her to audition for the American Idol and then get on there and Indianize some western song... 😕 That she won't do, but has no problem cramming western songs down Indian audience's ears... 😕

😃 Are you the official topic editor for the forum? If you want to be a MOD so much, apply to be one...Why are you trying to regulate other people's POV? Lecture Poorvi fans about hundreds of topics they've opened up praising her... 😃 Are we supposed to just keep quiet and NOT criticize her? Why exactly? 😛

It has been my observation that among all the musical reality shows, Indian idol gets/promotes yankee contestants. Poorvi seems to symbolize this yankiness of Indian idol 6.Officially she is introduced as "hot and stylish gal from Chandigarh". Chandigarh seems to be the capital of yankee people. They won't speak pure punjabi or pure hindi.One of the thread on the forum is about her answering every thing in English.eems lik Screaming is considered as hot and happening in "yankistan". I guess there is a "yankistan" in Mera Bharat Mahan😃. I like your observation of westernization of Indian songs.

Everybody speaks pure Hindi and Punjabi in Chandigarh except university area. surrounding area of Chandigarh are villages who work and live in Chandigarh and they
speak their sweet version of mix languages Hindi and Punjabi.
I never found any sweetness in songs of purvi.

Just saw today's episode, and hated what Poorvi sang. Thank God Ashaji told her to sing some Indian style songs.

Screaming = ROck star image..
De Javu of Shivam from last season...
This season the girl Purvi is horrendous when she sings...And I am shocked to hear judges going goo goo gaa gaa over...Especially when she sang in two voice...Man that is not the first time someone has done it..
Chalo I got it off my lovely chest..
Most singers are just average t...his season Only kaushik and vipul are alright...
BTW Ankit Purvi reminds me of "Khali chana vaage ghana" Does not it? 😉😆
