Lacklustre singing, Buckle up Idols

Whoa whoa whoa!!

What a rank bad episode. The singing was all over the place, Flat, out of tune, no expressions just going through the motions. I never thought the singing would deteriorate so early. Except Amitabh to some extent, i felt as though the others were competing for the worst singer title. Deepak whose audition i had liked very much made my ears wince and wanted the song as soon as possible. Amrita & Ritika were very flat, no soul just mechanical singing and lot of blunders. Ravikumar, who picked him? just plain bad singing. Kritika couldn't hold her low notes at all. Purvi was ok but not special. I hope Devinder, Amit & Vipul keep the standards high, maintain the consistency so that we can have some thing to talk and cheer about in the coming weeks.

Almost looks like the poorest standard of Indian Idol to me! Not that Indian Idol anyway has very high singing standards other than an occasional Sreeram, or Karunya or Rahul Vaidya from earlier seasons.. but I frankly dont see that one shining idol yet in this group! Pretty dissapointing!

Didn't watch today's episode yet but have to agree there is no one of the caliber of Sreeram and co and I felt that in the shoddily showcased auditions itself.

This season is disappointing! Everyone needs to pump their ass of to achieve the set standards. Very honestly, none of the performances today managed to impress me. There are contestants who are capable of performing better. Lets hope to see them completely rehearsed to burn it down on stage.

Well this episode p[roved you should never get excited about singers from their audition performances at all ... i really like the selected top 16 from their auditions but i was SO WRONG (especially about Kritika and Deepak)... they could have picked their top 4 straight out of that coz no one else deserved to go through ... just hope this was a blip and their true talent shines through ...

I agree none of them performed the way we expected except for the youngest(16yrs) one...I forget her name. I had great expectations from Kritika...but she did not perform the way I expected.

was truly disappointed with the performances
none of them have that Indian Idol thing in them, ts such a let down already ...though I detest drama on reality shows but there need to be a couple of contestants atleast with attitude and character to make the show watchable...

hope it gets better but I'm not going to expect much :(

Agree with all of u... No participant is deserves to hold this title an 'indian idol'👎🏼
