Well Mr. Amit , we appreciate that you voiced your opinion but like it or not we love Indian Idol. We are all music lovers and many of us are/were avid SRGMP watchers too, but you won't find us going to srgmp forum and telling people that although SRGMP was great before it's not that great anymore sp EMET.( in more explicit words and bold letters ,the way you did!!)

By the way, Starting from Sonu Nigam ( who was once with srgmp)many music maestros accepted the fact that Karunya is one of the rare musical finds in reality show and Amey Date's song was highly praised by legendary singer Sri Manna Dey( who doesn't praise often ).So idol II had fair share of great singers. Only, like srgmp challenge 2005 Idol also suffered the inconsistency and unfairness of multiple voting.

Indian Idol has it's own charm and at the end of the day it does discover raw talent, whether that person is ultimate winner or not.You are welcome in this forum but little politeness will be appreciated. 😊

Peace

Well said! 😃 👏

I don't think anyone can argue that saregama singers are techinically much much better than II2 singers but that said, we must take into consideration that the soul aim of saregama is to discover a new playback singer and as such entertaining the audience and performance aren't considered to be important whereas in II2, it's not just a singer, they are looking for, they're looking for someone who can sing/perform/entertain at the same time... So, it's one's choice - whether he/she wants to listen to good singing or they want to be entertained at the same time.. I'm not saying saregama is not entertaining, some people may find it entertaining just listening to a good singer..Bottom line is - both of them are good in their own ways and have their share of good/bad things...

peace!

I want to tell u that SONY is making business not discovering talent or playback singers

SONY CHANNEL is making money by taking Rs. 3/- from each vote
in which sony takes half money from BSNL, airtel, and all other mobil companies

in comparison there is no partnership done by ZEE; the votes are as per the mobile usual rates. and also free votes are taken via internet
