MARGIN OF VOTES BETWEEN SANDEEP & KARUNYA

i vowed i will not post any messages in this forum, but when i saw this thread about the margin of votes being 10 lakhs, i wanted to tell u all something. the total number of votes polled were over one crore (remember, aman had announced it in the final gala that the votes crossed one crore?) even if we take it to be one crore, 10 lakhs is a small margin. which means that sandeep got 55 lakhs, whereas karunya got 45 lakhs. the difference then is 10 lakhs. if u calculate the percentage sandeep got 55% while karu got 45%. in the finals aman and mini kept saying that the scale was more or less evenly balanced.

even after giving away free phones, getting people to vote even in chai shops b4 serving tea, day and night voting by sandeep's family could still only manage to get a scarpe-through kind of victory for sandeep. isn't that proof that karunya's talent didn't go unnoticed? yes, the fact is that money and cute smile won the title for sandeep. But imagine if sandeep's family didn't resort to such disgraceful methods to win votes, then what would have been the outcome? neither sandeep's singing nor his 'cute smile' could have got him the victory without his family's money.

hi sharmila ,i know u are upset with karu's ouster but now blaming sandy's family is not good for us.lets not get nto those petty issues and lets just pray for karu's future,even i am feeling very bad for karu but lets not insult sandy fans anf family.i hope u understand me.cheers.

i am not insulting sandeep's family, i am merely stating facts. going by the newspaper articles, sandeep's family did all that to get the votes, didn't they? didn't his family admit on TV that they had a day and night voting team?

dear i agree most of it ......but its not the family fault at all......i truly believe they just did what the rules allowed .....but i do have problem with sony allowing such thing and divding people and making people go wrong way ...in my opinion karu had lot of fans who did not use the method well as they may have thought he is so talented everyone will vote for him and relaxed .....sandy had few people behind him but who used the method right way .....please do not direct the anger on family my request .....its our age old habits we all have in our blood that these business people are using us against us and dividing and making money out of it ......i hope atleast people will wake up and will not participate in II3 and shows who follow this trend ...we want free voting where even common man can vote...but janta ka kya bharosa ....gullable people just drown themself in entertainment and emotions and forget everything 😊 😊

i wish to clarify again, i am not insulting sandeep's family. i am merely stating facts. it is money which decided the result isnt? karunya's family could not have afforded to do all that sandeep's family has done for sandeep. the reasons being, first that they are not so wealthy. marwadi community is generally well-off. and added to that their families are large. imagine, if karunya's family had done what sandeep's family did, think of the kind of comments they would have got. think of all the abuse karunya and his family got on this forum even after the result. atleast i am not talking thro' thin air. i am going by a leading newspaper's article.

if people still want to think i am insulting sandeep's family, then i can't help it. the fact remains that it was money which decided the result ultimately, it was not talent.

it is evident from the begining its not about talent but who get to vote more ....in the end in the finale when mini said "abhi bh vakt hai jaldi bhejo jitna vote bhejna hai."...she sounded like a street vendor selling t shirts 😆 😆 ......i am sure even if Karunya has won this issue will be still raised for multiple voting ...becasue Amey who was also very talented was voted out even before karunya ....same thing happened to Nihira in saregama .....then music director ismail darbar ji got very angry at people for voting her out then he himself supported debojith and mass voting in the end ....ab kya kahen .........its not about karunya or sandeep......its about the system that this voting is being allowed ......we as karu fans raising this issue but this issue has been raised by many when Amey got voted out too......everytime people keep us quiet saying we are saying it because our fav lost and say sourgrapes and try to keep us quiet......but the fact remains this show is all about rigging .....Send Money to sony show 😉

Invest 1 crore, become Indian Idol, get fame and double the money invested. You might end up becoming a Bollywood actor atleast in TV serials. Aur kya chahiye.Sur Taal and Performance, comes next as a bonus.

Thats why they have to chance the format atleast a little bit so the judges get to say something!

Seems like SONY TV didnt mind the votes at all, as they got the money. and now for the next indian idol, they will say that...
remember, last year sandeep won as community people distributed cell phones and voted...plz dont let talent go to a waste, VOTE MORE!

so they will tell us to vote more and more; so they get the money. but i dont think they will say STOP MULTIPLE voting. y will they say that...

well said luckyleo.I AGREE WITH YOU..Nothing personal against Sandeep OR HIS FAMILY. but he just do not have it to be called an Indian Idol. Karunya was definitely the better singer between both.
