well sandeep did'nt win 1 crore as cash prize .... its a 1 crore contract ... which i guess the amount they r going to invest on him in getting his albums out ...

I heard that he too got a contract.

It was mentioned in The Hindu. But for how much is everybody's guess

I agree from the moment the winner was announced Karunya was in the background lost in the crowd. I understand it is Sandeep's moment but they should've said something and congratulated Karunya for getting this far. Sony did not plan that part well.. 🤢

I think Karunya got a visa card worth Rs. 3 lacs..... i am sure i heard that amount when they presented that card to Karunya........ did anyone else hear that amount??

Karu I think got the most wonderful thing(s)....Huge Fan following, his talent being recognised, Nation's Love and support, Telugu bidda is now truely Hindustan ka Beta(am NOT saying that he was not India's son b4) 😆 singing sensation and hopefully in future will be #1 singer of the country...u still want me to go on...since its just the beginning of a very long series for him i guess..... 😉

He got only Rs 50,000. Watch Part-3 of what Nomi uploaded. After Mini tries to sneak into the voting room, Aman takes over and says that Jo nahi ban payega, woh Kali hath nahi lautega and says that it is Rs 50,000. Sandeep got Rs. 3,00,000

No Purva, it was Sandeep the winner who got the 3 lac visa card in addition to the 1 crore Rs. contract and the Maruti car. When they presented Sandeep with the 3 lac visa that visa card had a nice ribbon and bow around it.

Whereas soon after they presented the Rs. 50,000 visa card to Karunya which was just the same as they gave all other contestants and ofcourse the Nokia phone.

Sony made so much money from this show that they should have atleast given the runner-up something more than the rest of the contestants.

I did read somewhere that Karunya got a contract from Sony but I am not sure what exactly the contract is for.

My god.... this is so stupid.... runner-up of the show gets same as what contestant who was out first got 😕

The 1 crore contract that Sandeep got is not a given. Those types of contracts are usually tied to the amount of album sales, etc. I'd be surprised if Sandeep actually sees the full 1 crore. I am betting his album will not be hot-cakes.
