Yes it is exactly the same like last year, Sandeep and Karunya both have a contract with Sony for 2 years.

The others too will be called for Sony stage shows, but they are not bound by Sony contract.They can sign offers, and do other shows as well.

I guess Karunya was just too good for the standards of Indian Idol...

He will have his album though 😊 But I hope it isn't like the raw deal Amit Sana got - just one original song and no promotion at all on Sony (however, Amit's Chal Diye was a huge success and it was always being played by all music channels. Let's wait to see Karunya soon 😛 )

Karu is going to make it big without II title I am just waiting for his album to come out. Karu has the right confidence and musical background to make it big and he will. Maybe this is how it was meant to be and everything will work out better for him. Don't give up Karu go and make that album for all your fans!
