Anuj Sharma and Mini MathurSad day for Anuj Sharma,

Anuj was humiliated on II2

It was very interesting to see few days ago, Sony's Indian Idol 2 saw a first. Judges Anu Malik, Sonu Nigam and Farah Khan staged a walkout when Mumbai contestant Amey Date was voted out by the audience. On Anuj being voted out, Farah Khan said, "I think he is a sweet boy and he has been lucky. Even though he was out in the piano round, we brought him back. He shouldn't react bitterly. In fact, he should learn from this and improve."

The suspense then started to build. Anuj being dropped wasn't exactly a surprise, considering he was in the bottom two a week ago as well. Farah Khan had even said, at the time, that his reaching the top three was surprising. When it was announced that Anuj was in the bottom two, he was upset, but didn't show it much. He too was also asked to sing a song, and he picked Chala Jaata Hoon Kisi Ki Dhun Mein from Mere Jeevan Saathi. It wasn't as good as Karunya's performance. My choice is Karunya should be the next Indian Idol. He has proved himself over and over again.

Later, after arguments between judges and the host on different issues, Anuj's exit was announced. I am really surprised the way all three judges' has humiliated Anuj and literally insulted him all the way through out the show He struggled to hold back his tears, but failed. He said he wanted to sing one last song for the audience and his friends, but he couldn't manage for a while, choked as he was by emotion. When he finally sang Hum Hain Iss Pal Yahan from Kisna, his fellow finalists joined him, holding each other tight. I do not believe that they have done the right thing to Anuj. He was brought back by the those three judge's doesn't mean that they have any right to insult him like these in National TV which is viewed all over the world. It was audience voted out Anuj and also paying a big chunk of money which these Networks are getting.

I feel sorry him...I don't like the way he was treated and put down by the judges. Then in the end of the day the judges say "We are not against anyone", more like "We are not against anyone, just Anuj"

i agree. he was treatd like a third person almost!!! i mean they wud talk about him like he wasn' even there. he also said naa that he felt like quitting the show at one point? and i think he's a much better singer than sandy...his voice never breaks, and he never loses sur...he only changed pitch a little bit whne he sang fiza...i think judges didn't praise him enuf last week.

probably, if the judges would've supported Anuj, he would've performed better !!!

Do u guys remember Ravi's case ?? Ravi Tripathi was praised by Anu Malik for Nain Lad Jayee He.....which made him confident !!...and he actually sung the song "Teri Deed Ko Akhiyaan Tarse" very well in the next Gala.........

Agreed and as you said he could have done better.

Exactly. I mean who can perform with confidence after they have been humiliated by the judges on national television?😒 Even though Karu is my favorite, there is a big reason why he is singing fantastically: He gets the praise which yields confidence.

but if he didnt give the performance worth praising for...then how cud the judges praise him? and farah khan did praise him wen he didnt do too well

i mean wen the judges praise sum1 for the rong thing...everyone says the judges dont noe wat their talking bout...they're being biased just cuz he/she is their fav.....etc etc....

newayz.....i do feel sorry for anuj....the walk-out....the controversies...all fingers being pointed at him wen he wasnt at fault...he was a good singer...he sang really well in piano round.....i guess the gala's weren't too lucky for him
