Would Sonu Be Nice To Sandeep if .....???

Hi!! I just read someone saying this (comments quoted in bold face below) on some other forum... Can any of you guys tell me if it's true or not, coz I didn't watch Indian Idol 1..???

Here is what was said:

About Sandeep singing Udit Narayan's songs... I think he has the right to sing any song he thinks is best for him !!! In Indian Idol - 1 when Rahul Vaidya sang Sonu's song throughout no one, including Sonu said a single word against him.. On the contrary Sonu even said that when he started his career he used to imitate Md.Rafi and eventually got his own style, he said the same will work for Rahul Vaidya... Now why the hell is he so hell bent on Sandeep singing Udit's song if it suits him ??? So would he have been nice if Sandeep was singing his songs.. !!!!

If this is true then, the little bit of respect I have left for Sonu will be gone too... The more and more I watch this show, it is becoming more and more apparent to me that this guy (Sonu Critingam ) is full of ego..

well i somewhere agree but sonu only say him coz we all have noticed that he is only capable of singing udit song well, he just guide to him to just prove urself by singing diff singers song!
Rahul vadiya sang some different singers song but this is not with sandeep! he love to sing udit song..they dont mind it but obviously janta do . tHey want a fresh voice na k the same old one!
Being referred to udit narayan is a great compliment for sandeep but he should prove himself in diff songs too.They criticize only to guide him.I dont find it rude or harsh. 😊

One thing's for sure..

If any of the contestants had only sung Son's song, he would not have said anything, that I am sure of..

I doubt it. Sonu tends to get very critical when contestants sing his songs, examples being Desh Gaurav (Tera Jadoo Chal Gaye), Karyuna (Chak De), Monali (Sandese Aate Hain) and Amey (Mahi Ve)

Omgg.. Sonu got wayy meaner frm last yerrr.. Yeah I sawwt dat RAhul Vaidyaa alwayss copied Sonu.. and Sonu alwayss copied Mohammad Rafi??? Come on.. Sandeep relee liikes Udit Naryan.. so wat if he sings his songs all the tiime??? Sonu Nigam alwaysss says the same dam thingg!!! "OHH SANDEEP U ARE JUST LIIKE UDIT" i meann yeahh he does sing like Udit NAryann but its nto his fault and hes trying his best not too soudn liike him its just that the II ppl keep picking songs taht match his voiice and thats wat SAndeep gets.. Rahul didnt sing only Sonu Nigam songs. He sang Adnan Sami, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, KK, Mohd Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Sukhwinder Singh songs also, for your info. He sang Sonu Nigam songs only in 3 galas(1,6,9) out of the 9 he was in.

Rahul has a voice quality similar to Sonu's but he always gave a brilliant perf in the gala, performed really well. He didnt give Sonu much scope to criticise him. Def not the case with Sandeep- he has been singing Udit Ji's songs right from audition till now.

i completely agree with you! before you comment about anybody, please get the facts right. we cant compare Rahul vaidya to sandeep. rahul vaidya is very very talented singer. his voice is similar to Sonu's, but he tried different songs by different singers. and proved that he can sing any kind of song.

coming to sandeep, yes, his voice sounds like Uditji. he sings uditji's songs, but with lots of mistakes( his "sur" always gets faltered). he should try to sing different kind of songs of diffrent singers to prove that he has talent n he is versatile.

Coming to sonu nigam, he is a legend. before commenting him please think twice abt that. if one respects him or not, it doesnt make any difference to him.
