I agree! Sonu Nigaam is an amazing judge, infact he's my favourite judge but yesterday the comparing was really rude and not needed.

just wondering?is it a possiblity that sony thro' sonu is tryin to create a tension between amey and karunya fans so that they can increase their TRPs?? else there is no reason y sonu(with due respect) should compare between singers..and jump at ameys throat..sure karunya is good but...he is demoralising amey...
we shoud NEVER COMPARE between two people...each hasgot their own merit/demerit..hasnt sonu heard this piece of advice from any1?

Sonu is about the only judge who gives comments based purely on singing. I appreciat adn respect his honest opinion and frankly, I don't find anythign wrong with what he said. Karunya DID sing better than Amey that day and since this IS a competition, OBVIOUSLY comparisons are going to be made. SOnu gives remarks based on that very day's performance and that's what everyone needs, so that they know how to improve in the next one. If they keep on resting on their laurels, they're not goign to get anywhere. Judgement shouldn't be based on PAST performances, but on PRESENT ones.

And that's exactly what Sonu is doing.

sorry but i dont agree.. both amey andkarunya have potential.. we r not talkin about sandep/anuj or any other contestant here..

sonu knows amey has this potential...by being negative and tryin to compare him with a co-contestant-can demoralise a person... leading to poor performances..this will lead to a bad remark again.. and the vicious cycle will continue.

i think at least in case of amey sonuji must atleast encourage if NOT PRAISE him

Sonu is the best among all three judges but sometimes he gets so weird like yestedays episode he has been really rude to Antara what was the big deal if Antara said something over their judgemnt even thou she was sayin sorry again n again but he didnt get melted 😡
