Judges' Inconsistency in II2

Hi to All,
I am going to write abt inconsistency in Judges.

1) they disagree with each other quite a lot. Though it is fine to expect this from individuals. It is not fine from 3 people who are in the same profession for such a long time. Everyone has seen a regular contradiction of Anu and Sonu 's comments (I refer to e.g sony saying "Main tuch hoon aap mahan ho") and both are experts in music!!
2) Anu Malik's inconsistency.. He says Karunya ne acha gaya on the day karunya sang a song. Next day at the results time, he says karunya ne utna acha nahi gaya tha when I see the replay. I do not say that indian public vote according to what judges say but an expert opinion does count. Last night he went to the extent of copying SAREGAMA to go on stage and congratulate Meenal for her performance while everyone knows that she did not raise her voice that briliantly for such a beautiful song. And if you can ever record indian idol (or see it again via internet), you will clearly see his inconsistency. Such is not expected from a person of his calibre, I mean we are talking abt Anu Malik..Helllo..
3) Sonu: He only concentrates on singing. very well.. but here is a thought.. once he talked about standing notes and that Anuj was missing it..but I can bet if 90% of the Indian public understood what he said. Yes Sonu you ar the expert but can you not tell in simplest of terms your opinion about singing. Saying you did not sung well or you sung well or going on to the details of singing in notes is not expected of you.
4) Farah Khan..She represents an average Indian and hence her choice is probably the best. What she does is listen from heart and gives her comments but only a few can note that she asks what does anu or sonu think abt someone's performance and I am sure must be getting influenced.
What Sony Needs to do is to show the clips of the contenstents again and not to release verdict of judges on the performance day and also do a consistency check on their comments.

Having said all this, I do not wish to say the judges are not doing good, they are but they need to be more consistent, careful in their comments, supportive, positively critical and of course most importantly unbiased (which we can feel they are not).
So good luck indian idol watchers, Hope you choose a person who entertains you the best...mind you we are not choosing another playback or a pop singer... we are choosing an "IDOL" who can really represent India in the international scenario and will be a true "Indian Idol"
Thanks for reading my comments.

This is what I picked up from Indian idol's website..Pls do reply as to what you think.

JUDGES - PL. DO READ THIS MESSAGE.

I would seriously like to point out certain things to the judges. All the three of you have made a big name for yourself in your respective fields and I regard you for that. But it is quite surprising that not even one of you have ever realized, Antara's limitations in singing. First thing is that, so far she has not sung even one fast track song in the galas. Second thing is that she has neither sung a high pitched song nor a song with a classical touch. She may be a good singer, but not so good enough to be in the last five. She has very carefully and cleverly picked up only slow track, medium-pitched, melodious songs. I think she is comfortable only with such songs. She lacks versatality. Meenal is far more versatile than Antara. After watching Meenal's performance I feel she has not got her fair share of appreciation either from the judges or from the public. Farha - you have been instrumental in spoiling her prospects, who otherwise would have been in the top three, alongwith Karunya and Amey. You have constantly been giving a negative opinion about Meenal's performance, saying that she did not enjoy while singing, not soul touching blah, blah, blah..... You seriously had some mental block towards Meenal. In the last round you commented about Meenal closing her eyes while singing. It was the same when Amey performed. But you did not comment on that. Have you ever thought that she has been the only girl and one of the three contestants (the other two being Amey and Karunya) to have sung some difficult songs and perform it with such a grace. She had shown variety in her singing for which she had to change the texture of her voice everytime. You need, not only guts to do it, Farha but also a heart to show your passion for singing. What more do you want. I am writing this to you only after watching your comments for a very long time. You are a part of this average junta who do not have or have a little knowledge about music. I only wish that you and the junta do not become responsible in making this show a farce.
Sonuji and Anu Malikji, even you both have over looked Antara's limitations as a singer. I wish you read this mail and take up the matter without any prejudice. Antara needs to stand up to the real test before going to the top three as you judges have been predicting. First ask her to show some variety and voice modulation in her singing especially some fast track songs and high pitched songs with a classical touch. It is the same to Sandeep. Sonuji I saw you calling Anu Malikji a Mahaan. I say you are also a Mahaan - in being sarcastic. Stop being so. You should be above all these petty things. You are a good judge but also try to be consistent in your opinion. In one or two episodes I have seen you appreciating the contestant on the day of the performance. The next day seeing the same contestant in the bottom three you try to alter your opinion slightly.
And Anu Malikji-it is the same with you too, though you do not sound rude like Sonu. I like your sense of humour. Keep it up.
I was expecting Meenal Karunya and Amey to be in the top three. Now after Meenal has been voted out I have almost lost confidence in expecting to see some true talents to come to the top. Our junta seems to be voting in the same pattern as they vote in our elections. I would rather like to see Anuj with Karunya and Amey in the top three but not Antara and Sandeep whose talents are limited.
AND LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST THERE ARE MANY VIEWERS LIKE ME WHO HAVE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT MUSIC ESPECIALLY CLASSICAL BUT ARE NOT ABLE TO VOTE FOR THE SIMPLE REASON THAT THEY LIVE ABROAD. I WISH INDIAN IDOL CHANGES THEIR FORMAT OF VOTING FOR THE BENEFIT OF TALENTED CONTESTANTS AND MAKE THE SHOW A SUCCESS.

WOW !EXACTLY WHAT I AM THINKING !I also have lost all confidence and Enjoyment in INDIAN IDOL 2 .This is all becoming a farce and i really dread the tuesday episodes where invariably the good singers are being voted out or being put in bottom 3.
FARAH should seriously think before making harsh judgements.
I watch indian idol only for karunya, meenal and amey and with the way things are going i am very scared for the future of the above mentioned in the next few rounds.i agree with you wholeheartedly about antara and that she should GO!!!! and that we NRI'S shd be allowed to vote
