dude after i heard farah's comments i was like ok fine let me try to sing so i sang it like i was performing in front of an audience in my karaoke machine 😆
nd i seriously could not help but keep my eyes closed through the major part of the singing.
thats jus the way the song is... u gotta close ur eyes!! or u lack the emotion it needs... 😊

Its a very common and natural mannerism of singers to close their eyes while singing high pitch or soemthing that has lot of emotion.Why does Farah have to make a big issue out of it in Meenal's case only??

This is totally ridiculous...Farah needs to realise that the competition has reached its toughest stage and her stupitidy may cause good singers like Meenal to be ousted earlier than she deserves to be gone.She has no reason to target Meenal like this.I feel really sad for that girl...

i totally agree wid watever u said..even i noticed this..but thn i realized one more thing..tht even though meenal did a splendid job but still i dint get a feelin tht she ws singin deeply inside frm her soul as i dint got tht much touched by her singin ..while on the other hand amey sang it wid soo much inner feelings tht everyone cld feel it inside em..i m a big meenal fan but i jus guess in her last gala performance,there ws something missing..

farah was too harsh on meenal..i blame her for losing such a good singer...for the first time i think anu malik was a better judge yesterday.. she cant be a singing competition judge...she should be put in a dancing competition where people dont close their eyes

I agree smi. Farah was very unfair with her comments. She should avoided the point about closing eyes. Honestly, I thought Farah's comments wouldn't make a difference since she's criticized Meenal in the past. But it did make a difference, HUGE DIFFERENCE. I think Meenal's perf was one that grows on you with each listen...after listening to it many times, I'd say she was singing it like Karyuna sang 'Hum Tum' ie. to small children. She sounded very sweet.

ur so right.....some songs requires that the singers close their eyes to convey emotions....such as Tadap Tadap n HDDCS....i wonder does Farah know how to judge or not.....i mean this is really unfair.......she told meenal that she closed her eyes, whereas to amey, she didn't point out this........

Yeah Farah is out of her mind really.Forget about closing eyes and all that crap.But yeah Meenal was definitely not at her best with HDDCS.I agree that she was technically correct but there was no soul in her song.She was very raw.And thts not wat is required.I think thts why she lost out

looks like Farah is slowly and steadily turing into the Himesh Reshamiya of SRGMP. 😕 😃 😕 and her Gharana consists of Sandeep and Anuj, but Sandeep = vinit in terms of how he was unconditionally or rather say blindly supported by his mentor. Let's wait and see if she really turns like HR in terms of supporting Sandeep.
