KARAN'S COMMENT

During ystday Gala Karan Johar said that this year's (IL2) contestants are more OUTSTANDING than last year's Contestants..

DO YOU AGREE WITH THAT???

Last night Amey - one of the Fav sang Taadap, Taadpa ke.. but I felt Abhijeet Sawant sang it better than him that too in Piano round without any background music.. Ravinder ravi sang - Tuje dil mein better than Anuj

I think last year IL was far better n outstanding than this year

I miss abhijeet,amit,rahul,aditi even ravinder ravi...😭😭😭

Singing wise from II1 Rahul Saxena, Amit Sana and Aditi Paul were terrific...and this year it is Amey Date and Karunya...and Arijit Singh from Fame Gurukul is great too...the rest are good. Rahul Vaidya is a good singer...but what is the point of singing like Sonu...but Vaidya is talented..no doubt about it.

i think he should've said something along the lines of

"the contestants from I and II are so different, they shouldn't be compared"

that way he's not insulting to either I or II

Karan Johar was trying to be his usual oversmart self I guess..I rememeber last time around he made some ridiculous remark about taking a coffe break whenever Abhijeet came to sing..nowadays I hear he wants Abhi to act in his movie!! Anyway, many people say that II2 is better, I personally don't see how or why.. we had six solid singers in the last 10 of II1, rahul s.,rahul v., aditi, amit, prajkta and abhi.. pepople may have their personal favourites, butnobody would deny that all six were talented..this year, only Amey and Karunya comes upto scratch, they are both superb.. Antara to some extent.. I am very disappointed with Meenal.. Anuj and Sandeep I don't want to comment on..and by the time it was the round of six, rememebr II1 had the memorable patriotic round.. where everybody excelled themselves.. yesterday's gala was so dissapointing by that standard.. I am sorry I am not impressed!!

i don't know but i have always found II1 better....maybe it was the first thrill of watching indian idol or something else....i don't know...but this year too some very very very good singers have hooked me up with indian idol..... 😆

I also like Indian Idol 2 better.

I dun found much difference in II1 and II2 ... In II1 also there were bad singers like Amit tandon and Ravinder there were too an average singers and some were awsome.. and same is da case with II2..
There was RahulS. in II1 and here is Amey inII2 .. there was Amit Sana here is Karunya.. there was Aditi here is Meenal.. there was Prajakta here is Antra..
I dun c much difference in both da Indian Idols..
Some good singers sang extremely bad in II1 too ..
There is no point of comparing two singers like Abhi n Amey.. they both are havin different voice quality and diff style..so y do dey sing similar..Amey sang it beaufifully I think.. but yes Meenal sang too bad but so wat ..it happens in compitition..
