I think that Amey is the best singer and he sung very well.. but yes Amey can sing far much better than he sang yesterday!!

First things first amey was not souding like himself and if this is the way he is going to sound then I am sorry he does not sound very well. I am comparing Amey to Karunya because Nusrat saheb also has a very distinct voice which singers might want to imitate. Nobody wants any of the indian idol contestants to imitate any of the playback singers. We want to hear fresh singers in thier own voice. Why do u think Sandeep is always being harassed for sounding like Uditji? Because we want him to have his style. Sonu copies Rafiji left right and center but he also has his style of singing, his voice in the songs he sings.

For me it is plain clear that he tried to copy Daler and his style of singing. His voice sounded way different from his usual voice. He should have improvised the song and sang in his own style. I love Amey's singing and he would reach places but yeterday he was off the mark.

Well that is reviewer's personal opinion but the quote is what Daler actually said. I read it somewhere else too.

Whether Daler recorded the song in 15 min or 2 days is not the point....HAriharan took 2 days to sing NAhin Saame, while Hemachandra took less time than tht....does tht make Hemu better than HAriHaran....

N yes, as for imitating Daler's voice...then do u expect Amey to sing this song in his original voice??? Amey's voice is not tailor-made for this song....come on, even Sonu changes his voice depending on the song....his voice in 'dil mangtha hai dil daar soniye' frm Mujshe Shaadi KArogi i different frm his vocie in Kal Ho Naa Ho!

And yes why bring AKrunya into this topic....he's got nothing to do with this......just to put karu up u dont need to put Amey down.

i thought it was his own style, obviously he wouldnt sound the same as usual since he used to sing slow or romantic numbers mostly. but i think this is proving that he is a very versatile singer as sonu said
