Karyuna’s biggest foe? Karyuna...

I don't need to say this but I will...Karyuna's performance was mindblowing in the piano round. He sang Layi Vi Na Gayi like pro. His performance was full of passion, emotion and confidence. Sonu cheered him on during his performance, Farah said she'd vote for him. Amazing compliments. The only thing that can come in his way of being the second Indian Idol is himself. The guy is very confident but unfortunately, the public sometimes misunderstands confidence for arrogance. Karyuna needs to stay focused, be humble and remember that this comeptition isn't over until someone is declared the II2. If he does, he will excel in II2 and in the music world.

Hope Karyuna exceeds everyone's expectations in the galas!

I agree with you to a great extent sonynyu. This guy has great potential and I can say this becasue I've heard him sing lot's of carnatic and I was amazed to see him sing a Punjabi song and that was the only reason why I mentioned earlier that he is versatile. It is imperative for him to maintain that balance though I don't agree that he's his own foe but yes it is very important for him to be grounded. I hope ppl don't misunderstand his confidence to arrogance. Guys! he's confident and not arrogant. OK. So, please keep voting for him.

i didnt like his personlaity...its seemed kindda like he was trying to be himself and a little too spoiled.

three thing s ht stadn in karunya's way of becoming the next II:

1. The public's potential perception of him being arrogant 😕

2. The public going absolutely bonkers n votign for a LOSER lik PAnna who doesnt even classify as a singer

3. THE biggest threat: AMEY DATE 😊 😛 😃 (but this is possible only if the public votes with a little bit of common sense)

i don't agree completely with sonynyu, as karunya is still young to handle this type of hype the media & public bestores. I am sure at his age, we all would & still do the same kind of mistakes when camaras are rolling, say somethings without giving much of a thought. i have done cookery shows on sony hwere in london & in India & i know how it feels when the flash lights & camaras focus on u. We say things which we regret saying and then you won't have second chance to correct them. i am sure these guys will get groomed & coached as the galas proceed.

If you all remmember, last year Rahul vaidya & Amit sana were a bit in their own elements initially, but gradually they matured & focused more on performances.

Karunya maybe percieved as a spoilt child or over confident now, as there is not much to do for him for all these weeks, but once the galas get underway, i am sure he will get all the jolts which abhijit & amit sana got and that will make him get on the track..

so guys & gals, lets wait for the galas & then talk about their confidence levels..

With his singing talent, i am sure Karunya will go very far, maybe win it tooo...

indianman i agree with you. May be we are being too judgemental in his case. I mean guys we've hardly seen him. It's not fair to form opinions (esp negative) just based on one performance. We're yet to see loads of talent he possesses. So, give him a break.

lovlina ur right, we hav seen so lil of these ppl and you can jump to conclusions or pass judgements about ther character by lookin at a barely 15 min coverage. btw wot did he say which was soo wrong ?
