A FAIR VOTING SYSTEM !!!!

I think better idea of voting system shoudl be like Nach baliye...becoz of that show Starone nw in 3rd place even beat sony....

50% judges & 50% janata....tehy should calculate ranking point & based on that they shoudl calculate the result...If janata's & public ranking point same then consider public votes & make result like that....

I think thats the better way till nw in realisty shows ...

For eg: Amey...Judges obviously give him 7 I mean top rank...& so have public voted it will be 5 & they should take average & then it should be 6....

For Panna public gave him 6(second position) & judges I think have opinion of 2 so his ranking point is 4

For Sandeep public gave 7 (top) & judges above panna ie; 3 so his rank will be 5....

For Anuj judges gave 6 since according to them he is second after Amey...& public gave 4 so his point is 5...

For nakesh I think he is 3rd choice of judges...means 5 & public i think 5th choice...means 3....so his point will be 4....

javed & the otehr man wont get an avg above 4 so....That way teh TOP 3 will be

SANDEEP (since sandeep & anuj same tehy will conside public votes that way sandeep got more)

I wish thsi way is better that we wont loose Kshitij Dilpreet & anuj at all. ...That way the most deserving man never go out....

That sounds like a good system to me Sumesh, that way we don't have to loose any more Dipreets, 'cause she is the most talented to be sitting out, I believe she is probably even above Monali.

Lets hope Sony considers that!!!

But Indian Idol follows American Idol format.So it is impossible 4 that format 2 b followed.But I personally wish 2 tht this format had been followed coz we wud definitely have gotten better singers.

I even found the ousters in Nach baliye to be ridiculous. Its really hard to comprehen what the audience bases its votes on?

The audience is really ridiculous.I wonder wat their criterion of voting is???Bcoz Panna is good looking???
I thought Amey has a better persona than Panna.Panna is not tht damn good looking or anything for him to b voted above that gr8 a singer.This way our Indian Idol will hav more chances in bollywood than in playback industry.

I think audience is smitten by charms and good looks. They vote on a contestant either based on:

1) Popularity
2) Looks/Personality
3) Attitude
4) If they ever think about it, then there are few even amongst the dumb audience that vote based on voice quality.

Remember that each contestant who has made it to the top 28 has a decent voice - thanks to the judges. So, when the audiences vote, their votes are completely based off of the other factors.

All voting system have advantages & disadvantages,....

But i think 50% judges & 50% publci will be betetr choice so that we wont loose teh winner at the end...In nach balliye becoz of public support one couple come till 4th place & gone after that...

That way no oen cant reach to top without talent & true & consistant person only wins in teh end....

thsi II show seems liek FG show where people vote for performance & X factor

for this fiasco Sony has noone but itself to blame. It has a historical trend of bad results generated out of public voting yet Sony has not learnt it's lessons. I think that the channel is so greedy to make money that it has lost all good and fair sense of selecting candidates.

What is left in this competetion. Already 5-6 really good singers are out. The only two singers that stand out right now are Karunya and Amay. It can be a walkover for them but with the way indian public is voting we will see Panna Gill or Sandeep winning.
