Farah Khan's Hypocracy

Although Farah tries her best (given her limited knowledge of music) to provide her analysis about the singing aspect of a contestant, her focus on the show is clearly on the performance. However, I think she focuses more on looks and fashion than on performance. She has made so many comments about how a person looks, or the clothes they wear or the shoes they have worn, etc.

I find that very hypocritical on her part as she dresses horribly herself. Nobody would mistake her for a fashion diva or a good looking person. I feel she loses all her credibility when she focuses on these things. The show is NOT about how good looking you are or how you dress (granted, nobody wants to see an Indian Idol who has absolutely no dress sense).

She needs to realize that many of these contestants come from humble backgrounds and have been focused on singing and not on fashion trends, where they neither have the means nor the guidance regarding these aspects.

i kinda agree wid u...but the ultimate indian idol needs to be a performer after all. Anu and Sonu are judges for their knowledge of music buti think they purposely made Farah the judge so she could comment on performance. I don't think she is a hypocrit.

I don't have a problem with farah concentrating on performance (that's what she is there for) but she focus more on looks and fashion than performance. That's my only issue with her. She needs to narrow her focus down to performance. If they want to talk to the contestants about looks and all, that should be done offline.

I think she was upset in the initial rounds because people showed up in bathroom slippers and rubberbands on their hands etc.would you not dress neatly for any interview atleast follow a dress code?this is indian idol shown on national tv.even my maid and kids look so smart on special occasions.
she supported antara, when anu rejected her.peronality makes a diff. if only NEHA had dressed(blonde permed hair, huge bindi) differently and presented herself better.....
sho doesnt critcise top 28.but actually praises them a lot on their effort.

You guys are missing the point. A hypocate is someone who says one thing and does another. She tells people to dress one way and create a certain look, where she herself dresses horribly and uses terrible makeup. That's what I'm talking about. If she is going to be a fahsion advisor, the least she can do is dress accordingly.
