I wouldn't like to accuse them without evidence. I think there are many possible reasons why Rakesh's vote bank was less compared to others. The fact is that the audience IS unpredictable. And I'm also happy that the audience has given Rakesh a little nudge so that he doesn't go back into a mode of stagnation.

On Monday Rakesh sang a beautiful song, "Mai Zindgi ka saath" composed by Jaidev saab. He was flawless and did justice to this awesome composition and put his heart & soul into his singing. Guys I willn't go in that debate that whether or not this show is scripted. Everybody knows that its not possible to produce any tv show without a written script, after all its a show business and they have to take care of a big payroll and expenses. I guess there must be a team of 50 people in this production team including the support staff who work day and night to bring us these two episodes every week.

I believe that public votes has no meaning as they reserve the right to ignore those votes. Folks we don't have election commission of India tabulating these votes. Why did they show us the drama on the stage when Aamir Khan was telling Anu something? It could have been edited. What do they think? Are we bunch of fools watching this show?

Anyway friends, Its my strong belief that Rakesh will make it to top 2 and we are going to see him in grand finale because he is the best singer we have in II5. I wish him good luck.

Right, i fully agree with you. Because he hardly came in bottom may be once only. It must be Bhoomi in bottom , but it would look odd to save her and moreover they want a girl in the final so that she can sing rap and dance and audience also enjoys. Suddenly they started promoting her

Actually melodious songs are most difficult to sing and mistakes can be caught, whereas in fast songs people dance and shout so mistakes are not heard.

I dont wanna talk about Bhoomi. I dont even consider her to be in class of Rakesh, Shivam and Sreeram. Almost all the song that Rakesh had sung are more or less similar to each other. Yah lyrics are different. Everytime I heard his song I feel like he is singing same type of song. That said I have always enjoyed his performance. Its just tht he is not trying to take risk. Its like he is going from A to C alphabettically, then coming back from C to A. While Shivam and Sreeram are like going from A to K. Regarding that somethintg is missing sounds like you are greatly inspired by Sunidhi. Tell me what is missing? That said I respect you ur opinion and if you feel something is missing then its your opinion but there are majority of the peope who does not feel anyting missing from Sreeram's singing. There are many people who feel his voice is unforgetable.

Jaspalji, a very good post to discuss abt the realities of reality shows.I guess..I understand tht there may b many ppl working to bring out a good show, given the current issue that truth is never revealed n the show being scripted, do u think, You would recommend ppl not to vote for Rakesh as it makes no differance anyways?? Apologies in advance if anything I said is rude, but plzz believe me, it is only my curiosity to know what u really feel abt the whole thing.

ok my analysis on the voting trends....in the previous gala, shivam had asked a question from Amir 'why he is always in the bottom inspite of giving good performances"....and what you get in the result...He tops the votes..this shows that the public votes do get influenced with Sentiments & the "Bechaara" feel.....next for Shriram...from the past few galas he has been in the top bracket due to his near perfect singing...and i don't think he will ever be in bottom unless something extraordinary happens ....next was Bhoomi...which i think is getting saved by massive regionalisim....so that leaves Swaroop & Rakesh... Now here is a tough one....Although rajasthan is voting for Swaroop..but it's not that strong as it was in the case of II3 (sandeep acharya)...maybe the community is not that rich to sway the SMS voting.....and we find swaroop in the bottom...with Rakesh. The North (mainly Punjab/Agra) might be voting for Rakesh....but then thhis time it was not enough!! one more thing...from the past few galas, voting has also started from UAE....i wonder how that is effecting the voting patterns!

Quite frankly speaking, I will never ever ask people not to vote rather I request them to sent substantial number of votes in terms of sms' because Sony tv is not getting any sort of grant from the federal government.😆 These votes may not make any difference to contestants but it generate revenue for the channel. There is no free lunch.😆

Whatever we see on tv, dialogs of judges, guests, anchors, eliminations etc. all is a part of written script. Why do you think Amir Khan or Ajay was there on the show? To promote their upcoming movies, and I believe that they must have paid a handsome amount to channel in order to appear on the show as its all part of business at the end of the day.

I do realsie therez no free lunch for anyone just not these ppl, but my feeling is tht the channel gets more revenue from the sponsors of the programme n also also the commercial tht are played in between the programme, than from the voters who are associated with these reality shows, so I dont realy think it makes any difference to the channel as such in terms of revenue generation. So putting the revenue of the channel aside, the question remains wud u recommend ppl not to vote for Rakesh as it makes no diference to the outcome of the show, apologies again for giving u this trouble as honestly I wsih 2 know how u feel abt the whole thing, I will apppreciate if ur answer is either a yes or no or dont know, 😳😳
