This song takes 2-3 listens to grow on you, so if youve heard it only once, pls listen to it again! And again and then it will be again cos u will not feel like stopping 😊
Sadhanaji adds so many variations to the just that one word 'bahaye' and they are just so subtly done ... just perfect!
Then the humming and alaap prior to the 1st antara... very nicely done!
Coming to the antara -
vish ka pyaala kaam na aaya - the harkat on 'kaam' when she sings it the 2nd time
meera ne pee ke dikhlaya - the harkat on 'dikhlaya' the first time
prem to hain gangajal ismein
vish amrit ban jaaye
Just heavenly!!
The song has very little music with lovely lyrics and complete focus on the singing which simply elevates this song!
The 2nd antara goes -
prem hain giridhar ki bansuriya
prem hain radha ki saawariya
yeh hain saat suron ka dariya
jhar jhar behta jaaye
Throughout the song, the singing is controlled and this i feel has been deliberately done.
All classical based numbers hold a special place in my heart and this one is no less 😊
