Why?

Why are audience votes given full weight? They should have 50% audience and 50% judges votes. This way we would not lose talented singers like Vishal and be stuck with weak singers like Meghna

The way the top 13 were selected. I would definitely want that system for the Gala Rounds.

But unfortunately that is not happening. Indian Idol is going with the usual old format of listening to just what the audience says.

SO, the audience should be the one to be blamed and they should vote sensibly now, after such drastic bad result of the previous season.

It was really unfair to eliminate Vishwas.We all feel the same Why keep Manisha,Yash Rakesh and Meghna when Vishwas was far better than them.

True. The judges should have 50% voting power. But wait, will there be wild card entry. Vishwas has a fair chance of reentering the contest.

Guys, they couldn't change the format even if they wanted to. They're adopting the International Idol format, and they can't alter the way how the contestants and winners are ultimately decided.

We hear this every season, it will NEVER change because it's not in their hands, so honestly why do we have the same discussions every season?

^^ But the international format, now includes the veto power of judges. They can stop an eliminated contestant from leaving, I saw that happening in American Idol.
