t is good news for Hyderabad that their local boy Sreeram has done what no one has done before. This Indian Idol contestant has become the first ever contestant on any reality show to have recorded a song while still being on the show as a contender for the title that he may or may not win.
So impressed are the judges with this Telugu boy's singing skills that Salim-Suleiman has already recorded a song with Sreeram and Shreya Ghoshal (also a winner of a singing reality show) for the Telugu film being made by Walt Disney. This love song will be picturised on the film's lead pair, Siddharth and Shruti Haasan.
What makes the achievement more important is that the show does not have much viewership in the South and hence the contestants hardly bag any votes.
But music has no language they say and talented singers are proving the adage right. Now that Sreeram has found favour with Salim, Annu Malik is bound to follow…
