Hey somone999,

thanks for having this dedicated thread for Shivam. He is one of my favorite singers in Indian Idol 5. I love his cute face, humble nature and down to earth attitude. I believe that he is a perfect contestant and might win the title. I'm glad that he has made it to top 12. One step at a time.

Quite frankly speaking, I was impressed with his talent and singing when he gave his first performance at auditions. You know what guys, sone pe suhaga is that he has been Suresh Wadekar sahib's student. If I'm not mistaken, origionally he belongs to a small town of Lakhimpur Kheeri in eastern U.P.

Now all he needs is to give us his best rather back to back brilliant performances in upcoming rounds in order to win viewers heart and majority votes. I'm sure he can do it.

im not sure if this has already been mentioned but one of my favorite things about shivam is how he actually LISTENS to the judges

anu malik gives him a lecture on his "attitude" LMAOI...so when he's asked again on why he wants to be indian idol, he says because of his sachai and singing..salim comments on him not smiling...next day he's shaven with a huge smile on his face...salim tells him to bring more power to his voice...he sings the same song again that minute and brings more throw to it

you can TELL hes VERY serious abt this competition and really wants to be a singer

Yes, he originally belongs to Lakhimpur, but is currently residing in Mumbai.

I agree with what you said. He is serious, talented person. I am thoroughly impressed by the amount of calmness, liveliness and versatility he has in his singing. Wish him all the luck.
