I'm 100% sure they count votes - why would Indian Idol ruin it's own reputation (and TRPs) by purposefully kicking out good contestants? The show lost so much prestige when Sandeep or Prashant won II - do you think the channel planned to make these two singers win, or was it more likely regionalism/xfactor which got these contestants through??

There are so many people here who are against the elimination of Vishwas. Don't know where does the votes get lost. Indian Idol se Regional Idol ho jaana chahiye naam.

well the answer is that very few people r here on this site ......very few as compared to the number of people who vote .. so the actual position n position among audience cant b predicted with this ...

But I am sure most of the people will hold the same view that Vishwas definitely did not deserve to be eliminated in the 1st Gala. Yes you are right that there are few people here on India-forums. But the views will not vary so much.
