I've actually never admitted this to anyone but when I first heard Vishwas on SRGMP and saw him, I fell in love with his name..I think he started out in 2005 and ever since then Ive had a determination that when I get older and if I ever have a son, I have to name him Vishwas..i absolutely love LOVE that name
And when I heard Vishwas was gonna be on Indian Idol, I was sooooo happy (only cause I love his name, I didn't even remember his singing from srgmp LOL)
But today when I heard his jalwa performance..holy crap that was freakin awesome
So first I fell in love with his name..now Ive actually fallen for his singing

Yes he is a very good singer. I am a fan of his singing for sure.

I think i now know which male singers I like on this show, but I will wait till next episode to give my list of favourite male and female singers on this show.

Aah! Thanks for starting the thread. I was going to do the same today.
Even I am a fan of Vishwas. Have heard him in SRGM and I know what he is capable of. I was roaring with joy today after his 'Jalwa' performance. I hope he makes it to the Top 12. He has a good chance though.

I agree that he has a good chance of going to top 12. Isn't he from UP??? Most good singers from UP make pretty far in the competition.

Yes he is from Allahbad. I think he is the most senior of all contestants.
Don't know about singers from UP but in the past two seasons singers from North-East have really made a mark.

Well I just realized that usually a good singer from UP makes it far in the competition even if he or she doesn't win the show.

SRGMP 05 - Vineet
VOI - Harshit
SRGMP 07 - Poonam

Vishwas' performance really surprised me, I haven't seen or heard him singing before.
His renditions with appropriate delicacies really impressed me.
I loved his version of the song 'Jalwa'. A definite maturity can be seen in his singing. I sincerely hope to see him in the top 12.

^^ Hhhmmmmm.. a good job done here by Vishwas. One of my favourite powerful tracks. There are flaws in the singing here. Never-the-less, It shows that he has improved a lot till this date.
