I've already decided whatever Cutiepie Rani gives, she really meant to give that score + 1. So this was a 7 not 6. Since afterall, her max is 9.

Though I bet sometime or another, she will give an actual 10 in this contest. There are some amazing performances awaiting.

The only reason I gave it a low mark, is that I wanted to hear more from her. No doubt she is a fabulous and terrific singer. And from as much as she sung in this song, it def shows how good she is.

Also I don't like giving 10's only because I know each singer has their own flaws and can always do much better. And there is always room for improvement. But yes who knows, there be a be a performance that I've compelled to give a 10 to!!!

Sorry if you guys didn't think my ratings to be just enough.

Though the lines were repetitive as many of u mentioned, she was amazing in the song...So many variations with just 3 words 👏 I give her a 9 😃

The song is good to listen, but keeping into consideration everything I think she deserves a 7.

Very well sung, her voice was quiet soothing and soulful singing

She hit every note perfectly and left a haunting voice in my mind

Though she had only a few lines, justice was done, especially for her first rendition

so my rating is 9

OK, I gave her an 8. In this song, its the starting that really matters and the lines "pakhi pakhi pardesi" which she had truly sounded melodious for a first time singer. She complimented Udit narayan extremely well, even though she had sang very little in terms of lyrics.

One more point to mention at the beginning was that her Voice modulation at the beginning was very avant garde. Surely she deserved more scope in terms of lyrics but I have voted 8 just for her immense melody.

Mahalaxmi mesmerizes you with her soulful voice in just a couple of lines...Soft, soothing, painful and pure! Her parts fit like gems in the song and compliment Udit Narayan for rendering a masterpiece!

Despite her limited appearance in the song she gets a 10 on 10 from me 😃

Mahalaxmi jee had a small part in this song. But the part she sung really had potential. It doesn't even seem like her first song. She has sung it really well.

So i'll give it a 7.

I think Mahalaxmi is a very good singer... just that her song collection is minimal and hence the limitations in the choice...inspite of having a small part in the song, she did a good job but since the cake was taken by the other singers and her part was repetitive, so will judge her and rate her only on that lines...will give her a 7...

I've always said Mahalaxmi Iyer is a very underrated singer. I continue to stand by that. She just isn't mentioned as much as the others.

She was phenomenal in this song! The lines she sang were just mindblowing! Though it was just 1 line pretty much, she had a lot of variations to it, and the lines alone are not easy to do. I think she definintely added to the song.

If she sang like that the whole song, she would've received a 9 or 10 from me. However, she didn't. And when you have just 1 part to work and worry about, it's easier to go ahead and perfect. Therefore, I have to take some points away.

Rating: 7/10

PS: Udit Narayan sang very well
