This is just utter nonsence. Aneek, Vaishali and Anamika (lil champs) are well deserved winners. Obviously people's opinion may differ because the competition level was much higher in those shows but one has to say that they deserve to win. First among equals. Whereas Indian Idol is like the last man (woman) standing after the shootout at OK Coral. You know in a shootout in real life you never know who will stand at the end, probably the one who came late to the party.

I mean Season 2, Sandeep shouldn't have won!! It should have been Karunya or Amey.....

Season 3, Prashant shouldn't have won others such as Deepali, Emon, Amit, Chang were wayyyyyyyyyy more deserving

and now Rajdeep is out so it means either Kapil, Torsha or Sourabhee will win.......Sourabhee is the only deserving one out of them.....

This is terrible....none of them deserved it...

It was obvious when Rajdeep sang after he got out, he was amazing...!! After that when the Top 3 sang they sang not even half as good as Rajdeep put together....They should be ashamed it...

totally agree indian idol 2 loved Karunya, he was the most amazing singer ever, but instead that idiotic sandeep got to win

in indian idol 3, emon was sooo frikin talented, but prashant won

and in indian idol 4, rajdeep and Bhannu were sooo talented and they are out, and i'll be so angry if the guy or torsha win, cause they are not even deserving of being in the galas, and i totally hate torsha soo self-absorbed!!

and even if a girl wins this time, i am sorry to say, actually this time around i haven't seen a real good female voice, Prajakta, Monali and many more are better singers then the girls in Indian Idol 4

Nor Abhijeet was a deserving winner, but also the contestants in Indian Idol 1 were totally awsum! be it Rahul Vaidya, Prajakta Shukre, Aditi Paul, Rahl Saxena, Amit Tandon (not a good singer but a charmer) these are names that you don't forget till date! the judges Sonu and Farah, the anchor Mini Mathur, not in a million years they can recreate the magic of Indian Idol 1!

wat r u talking about? have u seen jo jeeta wohi superstar? the srgmp people were the first ones to go, in the finalists were rahul vaidya and abhijeet sawant which by the way indian idol contestants, indian idol contestants and Ishmeet were the only ones who shined, the rest were dull!

that show was a farce to put down SRGMP as it was aired on Star Plus. the eliminations were done by public voting and we have all seen the wonders of that. that show only had contestants of the SRGMP05 seaason and did not have the 2 best singers of that series (Nihira and Hemachandra). Vineet had the highest average score from judges and Debojit was much much better than Harshit. The most besura singers in that show came from Idol (Ravinder Ravi, Amit Tandon and Neha Kakkar).

have you seen ustaadon ka ustaad on sony? it had a similar format but was much shorter. it was won by Raja Hassan of SRGMP 2007.

Actually SRGMP always had a proper winner. Even if they are not my favourites all the time but at least they can actually sing. In SRGMP there are usually no horrible singers by the end and it all comes down to personal opinion...like whose voice and style we like better. But in II, singers who can't even sing properly in tune make it to the finals (and win).

not many people competed in ustadon ka ustaad, and the judges were saroj khan, javed akhtar and shekar suman, which i dun think are adequate judges for singing.

People that have shined through reality shows are: rahul vaidya, abhijeet sawant, Prajakta shukre, monali thakkar all from Indian Idol apart from that Ishmeet singh or toshi who got a break recently, no one else has got no recognition wat so eva!

abhijeet sawant, rahul vaidya, prajakta shuke, bhannu, rajdeep, karunya Nc, emon chaterjee Monali Thakkar just to name a few

other names include amit paul, amey date, not my favs but considered real good singers, have a listen to them
