Growth!!!

During the past three seasons of Indian idol the best singers (and not the winners) have been those who were good singers but not the favorites up till the piano rounds. However, the likes of Amit Paul & Karunya gradually became more & more consistent afterwards. These guys grew in stature with each passing gala and successfully transformed themselves from good to great.

Thus whoever wants to become the undisputed best singer of this season would have to show signs of growth as time passes on. Those who remain stagnant will slide down the card (yet they might win the crown)
