Well over the years it has not been the idols rather the runners up who have been the finds of Indian Idol.

So who among the 14 do you believe would be as great as Amit Sana, Karunya, Amey Datay, Meenal Jain and Amit Paul and still end up as runners up????

For me none of the top 14 at this point is as good as any of the 5 i mentioned above. (Ppl might disagree with Meenal Jain but she is just a personal favourite of mine)

IMO, Even those runners-up u mentioned above are not doing that great.
Almost all mainstream Bollywood songs are still sung by few: KK, Shaan, Atif, Sonu, Sunidhi, Shreya.

Nobody knows whereabouts of the super hyped Indian Idol contestants from all these years...😆
