Hemant Kumar, Abhijit, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik from Kolkata, Madhushri, and currently Debojit, Anik, Anwesha , Archita ( Little Champs, they are so good ) another one recently became winner , not remembering name. even now EKSE BADKAR EK the bengali girl , she is so good.

But now Vaishali in SA RE GA MA PA is very powerful singer

I think a bangali contestant would have to be very lucky to be an indian idol because we bangalis dont like to spend much on sms voting :p

What really hurts is the way even the Anchors(Hussain and Chang) attach the regional tag along with the singers each and every time after they perform.

One contestant (purnima, i think) opposed that after her performance saying she is from India, but again after that they were still saying same for other remaining contestants.
