Performance Discussion 17-18 December, 2022

It was a good episode. Liked almost all the performances. My favourite performances will be - Sonakshi, Deboshmita and Chirag's Ek Ajnabi Haseena Se. Weakest was definitely Navdeep.

The Senior Citizen special is always a boring one for me. Having not grown up or listened to much of the music of that era, the episode was a little boring. That being said, Sonakshi and Vineet were the best of the day by a country mile. Navdeep was borderline unbearable. I can't believe he made the top 10. Cannot wait for Rishi's performance and the Rohit Shetty special tomorrow! So pumped!

Senior citizens special

Sona was the best. Tere Bina was awesome, esp the second time without instruments. One of her bests 👌👌

Navdeep , yes, was the weakest.

Vineet was better in the second song.
Chirag showed improvement.

Debo was good.

Overall a decent episode.

Yes it was actually really beautiful.

I enjoyed todays episode, almost everyone sang well.

Shivam - Senjuti: they sang beautifully, complemented each other quite well. Though at time Senjuti stole the thunder. Both the songs were well sung.

Chirag: wonderful! This is the Chirag that we’d seen in the first few episodes. I think now that there’s no love story angle, he’s singing so much better. With ek ajnabi haseena, he hit it out of the park. I was impressed with his voice projection today.

Vineet: he’s back. Last week he sounded so lackluster but today he showed why he’s still in the competition. Both songs were beautifully sung. I may not want him to win, but can’t deny he was wonderful today.

Debosmita: she was outstanding. When I listen to her, I’m convinced a female will win this year (may not be her, but still). She’s ready to go record or perform live in front of a big audience. I didn’t even notice her much in the audition, but now I think she’s worthy of the trophy. Both songs suited her and she did full justice.

Rishi/Bidipta: singing wise they are a match made in heaven. Both their songs were well sung, though they were slightly better in the first. I’d like to see them paired up with someone else to see if they sing as well with others.

Sonakshi: she’s another fantastic singer. When she sings you know you’re listening to someone with years of practice and experience (she’s participated in reality shows since she was a kid). I’m amazed at how well she sings any song given to her. Absolutely loved her rendition of tere bina jiya jaye na.

Navdeep: clearly the weakest performance today. If I don’t compare it to the others it was ok, nothing great. But if someone loses his/her place while Navdeep is still there, it wouldn’t be fair.

Beautiful choice of songs today..these r the kind of songs u can listen to again n again without getting bored..also hum along.

Debo and Sonakshi were outstanding. Everyone was good..Navdeep wasn't bad too but Rito would've been a better choice in the contest instead of him.

Debo had worked on the only aspect where she lacked earlier..completely getting the feel and mood of the song..she is hitting out of the park since last two episodes

FIFA finale going on??? I think weekend show's TRP will be affected then.

Again an entertaining episode. Enjoyed it.

Repeat song for Senjuti but sung really well as the first time.

Shivam was excellent. First song was difficult but he sang nicely.

Rishi terrific. Both the songs performed brilliantly by him.

Bidipta decent. Didn't like the music arrangement at some places.

Kavya was again fantastic. Not a fan of the Golmaal song but she made me love it. Now she is the only different singer among the girls, others are mostly melody singers. Let's see how long she stays.

Loved Titli by Sonakshi & Chirag. Sonakshi and Deboshmita were better than their partners in the duets. Actually I have noticed that except Rishi - Bidipta pairing, girls are overshadowing the boys in the duets.
