Rupam should go before Navdeep.

Agree about vineet, but even at his mediocre best, he is better than Chirag , Rupam & kavya… But yes, needs to get back to his form. Parda hai was actually disappointing, though I couldn’t find any flaws

Yes there were no flaws..but the voice. Needed kind of 'Bhaari' voice. We know he is capable of modulating it..wonder why he didn't

My favourite performance on Parda hai Parda in recent times is by Ridham in Season 11. Nachiket was good too last season.

Agree. But somehow don't see Kavya going early. Rupam and Chirag will go before her.

Surprisingly, noticed one thing in Rajshri special..Chirag's voice was going perfectly well with Salman's visuals in the background. It didn't happen for many of them..he isn't the best out there but this worked

A very talented duo..

Both were recognized well in their seasons..but at the same time were termed overconfident and brattish by some. And both were live wires on stage. Interesting to see how their lives turned out

Yes, an immensely talented duo. Both were overconfident & arrogant too, which I suppose was imbibed from their mentors , the likes of HR & Ismail Durbar, who were known for their arrogance at that time.

It is sad that they never took off in a big way. Another reason is , both had the same Rafi -Sonu style of singing & Sonu was reigning , at his peak at that time. So, when you can have the original who would want a clone?
But I love their tonal quality, hope something clicks for them, at least for Vinit. On the one hand we have these two still in the shadows, on the other we have neha as a judge, described as the no.1 singer etc… 🙄

Talking of judging, Vinit didn’t even figure in the Jury of srgmp. Debojit, Anik, Raja Hassan etc are staple there. Now Ankush also is seen. Finally, the male contestants / finalists have to contend with just this.

why does it seem easier for the girls to make a mark? Neeti, Monali, neha etc? Skewed sex ratio in the industry?

They both are good singers, I do miss this kind of male vocals. More than anything their voices and their singing style became outdated. People started gravitating towards more intense western rock forward male vocals. Singers like Mohit Chauhan, Atif Aslam and (KK who was already doing great) started to dominate after 2006 and this change culminated in Arijit Singh. People who fit the trend make it.

Rahul Vaidya has always had a good fan following. Didn't succeed in BW but was quite popular in shows n concerts..and Bigg Boss has added to his popularity
