Neither do the makers. Hence they are trying all combinations & permutations with Chirag.
Their drama is beyond my understanding. I don't know what the creatives want to show. It started with Chirag - Kavya and then Rupam, Navdeep and now Senjuti are brought in. I seriously don't understand what they want to do.
Ashiqui
Rupam :- Didn’t want to describe such, but heck it was ‘bad’ & all went gaga over it! Like PV_IFhandle even I was tempted to fast forward; somehow braved through it. 🙄
Senjuthi - Disappointing. She was one of my favs. Sad. Sayisha, all of 7 could give her a run for money.
Chirag :- a lack luster performance , as his love life. 😡 What a waste of an iconic song.
Anushka :- Decent, esp compared to the first 2
Bidipta :- Though her voice is too sweet & shrill for my liking, she was the best today. Good renditions of both songs.
Rishi :- Flavour of the season - rather channel - gets to sing 2, the second one better than the first.
Duets were fine. Vineet sounded hoarse, could be the after-effects of an emotional Maa episode. He wasn’t upto his mark. And of course, this was the Sayisha PD duet that rocked for their renditions which I have watched n number of times for other reasons as well, 😊💕, so that was echoing in my mind.
Shivam Sonakshi did well
Asides :-
* Not surprising as to Surprised… Sanchari’s exit as to Rupam not in bottom 3. But thank God Debo wasn’t in the lower rung.
* Whatever happened to Anu Agarwal ? I knew she had a fatal accident, was in coma, had multiple facial surgeries, lost her memory for sometime etc… but looks like she is back to normalcy, hence wondered at the way she was marginalized throughout except for the poster. Even there , Sanu was butting in when she started to talk. Whatever it is, hope she heals fast. 🙏
So overall Ashiqui epi turned out to be a damp squib.😒
And finally …. Our editor of ‘ here now ,gone there’ fame is back with his Houdini act.

I was looking forward to this episode. I still remember last seasons Aashiqui special. I was disappointed to say the least.
Rupam - horrible! I though Kavya was the worst, but after her performance today I’m going to have to rethink. In my head this is an easy song to sing, how could she ruin this?
Senjuti - it was ok. Not great but not bad either.
Chirag - lackluster. I expect a lot more from him, and he didn’t deliver. I thought he wasn’t opening his mouth enough, the projection was poor. He didn’t go off tune or anything, but it lacked the punch.
Anushka - I liked her performance. It sounded like a 2022 version of the song. She has a different voice - very ‘trendy’ voice.
Bidipta - wow! I liked her at the auditions and even thereafter. Still many a times I thought her voice didn’t have the chutzpah. Today she was brilliant. She hit it out of the park with both her songs. I’d like to see her go far.
Rishi - he disappointed with sanson Ki zaroorat, dil ka aalam was better but they were subpar performances by his standards.
Vineet and Debosmita - for once I can say I didn’t enjoy Vineets performance. Debosmita on the other hand was phenomenal. You didn’t want to listen to Vineet because she sounded so so good. I’ve always raved about her performances, but this could probably be her best.
Shivam and Sonakshi - they were good. Again Sonakshi was better than Shivam. I’ve read a lot of people say this was the best performance of the day, but I preferred Vineet and Debosmitas duet, though overall as a pair Shivam and Sonakshi sang better.
I’m disappointed with Sanchari’ exit. I thought she would stay until atleast Rupam and Kavya left.
Gujarati or Hindi? Understand Kavya’s Parents well known in Gujarati music industry??!!!!
Ok..missed this comment..definitely Hindi. HR is a pakka businessman..he wouldn't want to limit his audience by recording their first song in Gujarati. If he is impressed n gives more songs then they maybe in Gujarati

Iconic film and songs but episode was flat for me. Felt singers were weak and didn’t do much justice.
Wondered why Anuradha Paudwal not there but then the lack of attention given to Anu Agarwal, I thought it was for the best. Even Anu should have stayed away.
Why camera shying away from Anu?
Episode dominated by deepak tijori and Kumar Sanu as for some reason Adi was asking those two the most. The one time he asked to Anu, Sanu replied as it was his idea of covering their faces on posters etc. So Anu not allowed to talk.
Sayli cam is now kavya cam. Last night she was ott with her actions. Was glad she was in bottom 3. Wanted her to go. She is childish and her singing not that great, Hope she comes in bottom 3 often.
I even find Senjuti and Bidipta over rated,
Per Vishal - Bidipta is a finalist.
Per HR - Senjuti will be famous as whoever sings with Sanu da becomes famous and gave example of Alka and Anuradhaji. Think HR had a mental block. 😆 Alka was well known before Aashiqui.
They will keep anushka till the end as she is tomboyish.
As they knew who will be eliminated so gave her and her mum a chance to be on the sets of Shark Tank as a consolation.
Still according to judges scores the elimination takes place. Judges marking but why they don’t read out the marks for each contestants? Then it’s fair.
