Yes, I agree and I am confused.
The vote rallies used to happen just before the grand finale and just one episode of grand finale.
Looks like rules are changing throughout II12 and we can blame it on Covid!
I saw Ashaji light a diya and Sony promo said greatest finale ever ki shuruvat Karne…. aa rahi hai…

so that would mean finale starts with Ashaji’s episode. But how are they going to stretch this until Aug 15? The one way would be spending one weekend or two on all the hometown celebrations Sony has captured in the 3 days they allowed the contestants to go to their hometown. All 7 went to hometown and so I doubt they will eliminate anyone this weekend before showing the celebrations and vote rally in hometown. I guess they could eliminate one and then scrap the footage from that contestants hometown visit!

I don't think there will be anymore eliminations. They might be announcing another powerplant type where all votes will be counted for announcing final winner.

He did say. But they keep changing rules all the time..

He will mostly finally say this is GTE and hence all in finale.

I hope he does that. Don't want to see any elimination now. Let anyone win but all these kids went through so much they deserve to leave show on a happy note. Especially after rallies I feel it's very demoralizing if they face elimination immediately.

Only thing I doubt is finals with 7 contestants seems too much to plan. Finale voting is different from other episodes right? How would they handle it if they pile up? It's just confusing.

Actually Sony handled the rule changes very badly in this season. No clarity whatsoever.

I don't think they will stretch now. Because 6 weeks finale make no sense logically. It will be Aug1st.

If at all they go for elimination by scrapping home town footage that's disturbing. Because its related to so many people emotions not just contestants. I hope they handle the situation properly.

I dont think there is still any confirmation on last date.
