Yes exactly! This incident is the first thing that comes to mind. How many times have we seen Amit Kumar grace any show or award function? No one likes people who are honest, truthful and burst bubbles with ease. Amit Kumar even said openly he did what he did coz he is being paid. Aaj ke time mein aisa aur kaun bolega.

And I can't forgive him for referring his father KK that his father was also very much focused in earning money by any means to justify his praising comments in consideration of money. He sounded like KK did anything for money in life.

He should not give any statement which could defame legendary KK.

I just skipped all the songs that Arunita was part of and that left me with 15 minutes and I thoroughly enjoyed the amazing talent from SMP, Ashish, Sawai and Anjali.

BTW, nothing is mentioned about Sayali and Nihal who did not pair with Arunita yesterday. Did you skip their songs as well or they were in your list of thoroughly enjoyed songs? Is it the singing style of Arunita that made you skip her songs or her significant screen presence comparing to other contestants?

If it is for her singing, I hope that, one day you will also like the performance of Arunita. 😊

I cherished 8 performances out of 9. Performances of Arunita Kanjilal in my opinion are worst.

The Youtube single video and full episode performance of Arunita do not match.

Show maker are omnipotent to

edit one or all performances and I acquiesce with them. Show is scripted, so, accordingly,

necessary to edit. I found some other edited performances. I respect sonytv and judges because

it is their show and they have powers to decide good better best.

I agree it is not Aru's fault. But just the bias makes me angry. I went back and watched and she was good as usual. She is definitely in top 3 in terms of talent in the show.

The organizers have destroyed the beauty of singing competition by not securing equal space for each contestant. They failed to confirm level playing field for the contestants rather they are the one to be blamed for killing the spirit of the competition.

This is a TRP hunting show, not a talent hunting show.

Whatever be the reason of Amit Kumar speaking he has has exposed the fakeness of these reality shows and it does require boldness. Most of these contestants are not new they have received a back door entry with fake auditions to fool the public.

It is very obvious guests are paid to pull stunts otherwise why would Anu Mallick run with a megaphone on the streets, why was Rekha behaving the way she was.

The boys in this show are quite average he must have heard better singers in his life.....imo

I wanted him to be a little bit more bold to say something against the judges who actually destroyed KK songs in the particular episode, not the contestants. So his bold statement which came after the criticism of that episode, didn't address the root cause. He diverted the blame to contestants from the real culprits - the judges. He gave a true statement referring to comparatively less relevant cause avoiding the main fact.

Well - said! Exactly my thoughts. I am not against Amit Kumar for speaking up. But the whole issue was about the butchering of the songs by the 3 besura judges. Why didn’t he comment on that? And, as many had pointed out, why didn’t he put a stop to it during the shooting? He is in a position to do so. Dragging the contestants into this controversy was unnecessary. These kids did a good job. You can’t compare them with a legend.

And of course, they all are paid guests who act according to a script. The makers with their current spokesperson Aditya need not try to cover it up. Instead of trying to save face, they fell flat on their faces when Adi asked that Q to Sanuda

Oh that’s bad... I like ghoonghat ki aaad se and don’t quite like dil song actually. It’s not fair to danish to have edited that song out. Unfortunately I can’t watch sonyliv videos unless they upload on YouTube for where I live
