Who is the worst judge?

Personally I don't consider any of them bad. The format of the show is bad which is designed around TRP not the talent. That's why even if they get most competent judges after some time they will come across as incompetent. Fans are making it more worse if any judge give negative comment they are biased. If they don't give comments also they are biased. No one really accepts the fact that contestant performance may not be worth of their praise. They have seen many singers like these contestants. So most of them will be mediocre for them. So just to keep TRP they keep praising everyone. What else they can do? When people are not ready to accept any genuine feedback for their favorite?

In fact south music talent shows are much better than this. Eventhough this is whole country based. They really test the contestant talent. Everyone respect judges decision. Fans don't make mess out of everything happens on the show as that's going to be end of the world. If they really want proper judgment they need to detach the public vote factor and just rely on judges to pick the right talent. This is just my opinion.

Any judge who bosses the panel and imposes his/her will on decisions is usually regarded as the worst judge, no matter how competent that person is.
I think all 3 judges on this panel are too independent to be pressurized. They work in different ways, but each holds on to his/her own decision.
HR appears to have the least integrity in his comments but is possibly the most educated/trained in nuances of Indian music. VD and Neha are untrained in singing and are self-made performers. Only HR can judge the Hindustani Classical trained singers properly in this lot and is an important member of the panel.

I agree with this, but I have seen equally big controversies related to eliminations and sometimes even judging in South shows (to be fair the show I watch is basically the Indian Idol of the South in terms of reach and even sends many contestants to Idol so people are bound to talk about it).

My problem is not with judges criticizing the contestants.. I actually feel they barely give any constructive criticism or only critique a few though I notice flaws in others. In South shows and even other Hindi programs judges will specifically identify areas where contestants lose pitch, sing off tempo, go flat, need to modulate with emotions, etc. How are contestants supposed to know where they went wrong to improve otherwise? Idk how much is cut in editing, but I have rarely ever seen Neha and even Himesh say anything useful. “Jai maata di let’s rock” helps no one. Used to think Vishal was better before but now he only appreciates certain genres.

Imo, the only real judging we saw this season came from special guests like Rahman sir, Ajay-Atul, Pyarelal ji, etc. who provided constructive feedback.

Himesh - On rare occasions I’ve heard him say something noteworthy to contestants, feedback relevant to the song.

Vishal - I don’t like him, he’s hyping some contestants but there isn’t any feedback given. He expects some singers to be versatile but defends others when they aren’t versatile.

Neha - she’s only on the show to say apne mausam badal diya. I’ve yet to hear anything song related

All the three judges are a goody goody types. I used to like earlier Indian Idols, where there was a highly critical judge (Anu Malik), a balanced judge, giving both praise and pointing out flaws, but in a gentle manner (Javed Akthar) and a soft judge, who would generally encourage the participants and show a more positive picture (Udit Narayan)

I still prefer Himesh over Neha even though his repetitive dialogues are annoying

Get rid of Neha ASAP. 🤢Don't know on what basis shes a judge.

All 3 are irritating nothing much to choose from.
