Same way SMP will find her success in her niche. Whether she will make it big or not only future can tell. Its same with all contestants they are genuinely talented in their own niche some may be more popular but it doesn't mean others won't find success.

Exactly my point, she's just become an adult and the amount of pressure she'd put on her vocal cords for years is bad. Her parents might have be masters in music but I had read almost every book from my University library on vocal training, music and sound and spoken to a dozen of voice coaches. So when I say she is damaging her cords...oh boy its happening.

And yes u are right, classical trainers make you scream to the point you lose your voice. I have been there and done that unfortunately. At the same time, South has many many teachers for Western vocals, unlike most other states in the country.

Western vocals will never teach you what Indian does though, overstraining means loss of both high and low notes. Both Whitney and Mariah (despite being the best) lost their voices due to oversinging. Many singers have also had to get surgery to fix this problem, which is scarier since it can go wrong. Sam Smith sings mainly in falsetto and had to get this vocal nodules fixed.

She is oversinging every line, taking variations everywhere. That ruins the songs. U might not think so but a lot of others do, they preferred her Jhumroo audition over the other things she did because she never lost the essence of the song there.

Sireesha and Anjali never had Arunita's popularity, sorry to say that. They were appreciated but Arunita has had a much bigger fanbase since the beginning. I took my time listening to her before liking her voice.

You might think Neha is good in her niche but I say she's just lucky. She does not have any vocal ability. SMP is better than Kakkar, so that's an unfair comparison. Even Neha Bhasin is the way better Neha, her voice, dance performances, etc are brilliant. Unfortunately she never had a brother in law who helped her get a judging gig nor a major label who pays bots for views.
