Sawaii and Anjali-Clearly this was the weakest performance of the night. Anjali is a very mechanical singer and Sawaii was out of tune throughout. Even the 2nd song had no maza. One of them should be eliminated next week.

SMP and Ashish-Average performance overall. 1st song was bad. 2nd one was alright until they started shouting at the end. I much prefer Vaishnav's version of "Alvida" that he sang during his audition.

Pawandeep and Arunita-Arunita clearly outsang Pawandeep and this is coming from a Pawandeep fan. This wasn't Pawandeep's best. Arunita outclassed him completely. I believe she should win the show.

Danish and Nachiket-Best performance of the night. Nachiket is getting unfair treatment from the judges and channel and was the sole reason this performance was worth watching. I don't think Danish would have been able to pull this off by himself. Nachiket adds so much sur and taal to every performance and makes those around him better. I hope he doesn't get eliminated.

Sayli and Nihal-This was my favorite Nihal performance even if Sayli completely outsang him. They were my 2nd favorites of the night and got no respect from the judges. Sayli should make the finale over SMP or Ashish. I believe she has earned it.

I had to listen to KK's version of the song again to realize the extent to how much they had ruined it. At first I thought they just weren't up to par, but holy crap, they really did a number on it.

I hated when Vishal said Danish brought out the "hidden" Nachiket today. Like, seriously? Nachiket is just as good and versatile as Danish. Moreso even, because he doesn't need unnecessary alaaps and stuff to "enhance" his performance. Nachiket's part today was the reason I enjoyed their performance so much.

Watching the episode rn with my parents. Danish and Nachiket’s duet was so amazing. I’ve heard this song so many times on Indian Idol but they really did something new with it. Nachiket in particular deserves so much more appreciation. This was Danish’s zone but he actually extended himself and did justice to the song, both in romantic and more upbeat parts.

Yes, Danish and Nachiket’s performance was the best. They both performed so well together, and they both did exceptional on their own part. And I agree with you that Danish actually extended a version that made the song so much more enjoyable and different. I actually loved the sargam/alaap both of did together, it was incredible.

I enjoyed today’s episode, mainly because it was short and there wasn’t a lot of guests and judges wasting time. I wish every episode was like this.

Coming to the performances:

1. Anjali - Sawai - I actually liked Anjali and think she sang pretty well. Though I didn’t like her in the last song, she sounded to kiddish, but the first two she was good. Sawai let her down real bad. I don’t know if he’s gotten worse or I’m just noticing it now. There was absolutely no inflection in his voice. Except for when he was screaming he was pretty flat. He really needs to go next.

2. Ashish - SMP - I don’t know if I’m getting used to them, or I’m just beginning to accept that they are here to stay, but I think their performance today was ok. It was the second weakest performance of today, but I normally can’t stand their performance and today I thought it was tolerable (like I thought yesterday). However, both of them really need to work on clarity. Their words literally run into each other. And Ashish’s pronunciation is atrocious considering he comes from a cosmopolitan city (I lived in Pune for quite a long time too, so I know).

Arunita - Pawandeep - I don’t like this pairing. Individually Arunita sang fine, though it was nowhere near her best but Pawandeep was a let down. His mechanical singing becomes even more obvious when he’s singing a duet. I thought Arunita was too high pitched at times today. Overall it was an okayish performance.

Nachiket - Danish - I loved their performance. They complimented each other so well. I was afraid Nachikets voice would drown because of Danish’s more powerful voice, but that wasn’t the case. This was a genre Danish has sung before but completely new for Nachiket and he was brilliant. While Danish showed off, Nachikets simplicity shone. I think they both must get equal credit for today’s performance. I was miffed when Vishal credited Danish for Nachikets ‘pagalpan’. Let’s not forget, Nachiket has sung songs like ek chatur naar, Anthony Gonzalves, etc.

Sayli - Nihal - Nihal was surprisingly good in aye mere humsafar. The other songs he was okay, but ‘sab gunaah maaf’ after aye mere hamsafar (only for today, I’ll be back to bash him next week). Sayli is clearly the superior singer amongst the two and it showed. Of late Sayli has been singing with a lot more confidence, but then she’s stuck with the same highish pitched songs. Would love if she and Arunita sang some slow paced number.

If Nachiket is eliminated next week, I’ll be livid. Sawai needs to go after two (actually 3/4) horrendous performances in the last two weeks. He clearly is the weakest.

Seeing the treatment meted out to Nachiket, I’ve honestly lost interest in the show. I’m still watching it, because I enjoy reality singing shows.

I do hope Nachiket is saved next week.

I'm so fed up of this show now. I don't even have any energy to rant about the OTT drama by the judges and guests. I'm just exhausted with how unfairly the contestants are treated. First Sahil, then Anushka, then Sireesha, and now it's next to confirmed that Nachiket is leaving next week. At this point, I'm not even interested in the remaining good singers like Sayli, Danish, and Arunita either. I just happen to catch the performances because my parents watch the show.

I feel you!! Seriously it’s so annoying how they’re treating their talented singers. And it’s our fault for giving them TRP’s inspite of what they’re doing.

I’ve really liked Sayli and Danish, other than Nachiket, but because of how they’re treating Nachiket I kind of am hating the other contestants (for no fault of theirs). Maybe hate is a strong word, but can’t think of an apt word.

I’ve even tweeted tagging Vishal, knowing it’s going to make no difference.

It also infuriates me that the best duet performance hamper was given to Pawandeep/Arunita and not the best performers Nachiket/Danish 😡 Come on how obviously bias can they be!!

Do they announce best performance in the episode? Well i have never seen that or its not there in sony liv episode

I enjoyed p&A and D&N ( they were more energetic singing more upbeat songs and their voices complemented) D&N worked well together. Can see their friendship coming through.
