Sometimes I think maybe I’m stupid to think SMP is all hyped, when even the guests who come praise her to the skies.

But seriously, she’s beyond annoying now. She has become like the queen and everyone must adjust to her. I do feel for Sireesha - who adjusts and is still the better singer, but the comments make it sound like only SMP did a good job.

Honestly, though Shakti has asked Shradha to recommend her, Doesn’t mean she will get the song. I remember Shankar Mahadevan told Arijit during Fame Gurukul, that he will soon record a song with him, it didn’t happen until Arijit became famous.

I don’t think SMP will win, but don’t be surprised if she’s a finalist, or atleast reaches the top 5-6

Yes. Guests and judges have promised many times in the past but hardly anyone fulfilled that.

He genuinely is not overhyped. Though he may be stretching the alaps, he is the most versatile and the best singer. He has already sang so many different genre of songs flawless and no matter what song is given to him, he performs and makes it great.

I agree! To me, he can perform without sacrificing the actual singing. He can do slow, he can do fast, happy, sad, etc. it seems he can do anything you throw at him. If anything, I feel he is not appropriately appreciated sometimes compared to other contestants. 😒

Yes, and I was happy that Himesh actually mentioned the word versatile for Danish on Saturday’s performance. In fact I think Pawandeep is WAY WAY overhyped. He has yet to show his versatility and most of his singing has no emotions, feel or personality. I have tried but I just can’t get into his singing. I feel like Nachiket is even so much better in some of his performances.

Agreed. I rank Nachiket and Danish above Pawandeep. His singing is good, no doubt. But Nachiket and Danish add so much feel and personality that it's much more enjoyable. They are also much more versatile.

They are already planning to make her the winner, anyone the show hypes over the top way, they hint them towards a win. They did that consistently with Salman and others! Sunny deserved the win, but Salman was overrated, just like SMP !

pawandeep was good initially . he has showed versatility too with singing gazals n classical too.. off late he hasnt been choosing correct songs. danish gets the best song selections IMO

I don’t think song selection is a problem. Infact he gets very good songs each week. I feel his singing lacks emotional depth, it’s very mechanical
