Thats a major problem. And Vishal always says things like "If this song was recorded in today's time then you could've sung at least one version of it". That doesn't help either. Why make a Part 2 of an already popular singer?

Thats exactly the reason why Salman Ali and Ankush Bhardwaj have bagged another show...true they have been compared to other singers but they are individual identities, I will recognise their voice form a distance too. Thats a very rare quality to have.

These days publicity is a must, even for a talented personality. So I can understand why Salman and Ankush are doing one more reality show, they come in "logon ki nazar" once again and can move away from their Idol image. I mean I was so surprised to see how the two have evolved. Salman seems to have changed in some ways and he sang well but Ankush really became a rockstar. He's lost all his inhibitions and his voice has improved greatly too; which just adds to his looks.

I remember coming across this group photo of Idol 10 finalists in 2018. I never watched the show but recognised Salman since my mom would watch occasionally. My jaw dropped when I saw Ankush...like who is this handsome guy and how do I not know about him yet ? 🤣 Lol made me look up his instagram. 🤣 I didn't hold onto my thoughts...but in 2020 I saw Ankush in Times of Music and that made me watch the entire season in quarantine...I realised why he was called Dilon Ka Shooter. 😆

So its really made me happy to see this journey and growth. At least one of my favourites is in mainstream media and if he plays it right, he'll be a known singer-songwriter soon.

I have a similar story. I've only watched season 5 of Indian Idol (which is how I know Bhoomi and Sreeram) and the two seasons of Indian Idol Junior. My parents started watching the current season and I joined them occasionally. They said these were the best singers they have heard on reality TV after Shreya Ghoshal. So I looked them all up and realized that most of them had much experience under their belt, reality and otherwise. I've been catching up on earlier episodes since the grand premiere and watching performances on YouTube ever since.

I didn't know of any season 10 or 11 contestants until I visited this forum to see the discussion on Indian Idol 12. Someone (I think you) posted a video of Ankush and Neelanjana's duet which got me intrigued in season 10 too. I think I've watched all of Ankush's performances that Sony TV has uploaded onto YouTube. 😆

Thats the problem na, the contestants are all seasoned reality show winners. I get it if they had participated in some small regional competitions...but they've been on mainstream shows for years.

U need to watch season 10 honestly, the best best best season! The contestants used to sing dil se, unlike this season where the contestants seem do think where they do their gimmicks. Salman used to go a bit over board with the alaps but the others were brilliant.

I had posted that duet 😆 It was actually their duet on Yeh Dil Tum Bin that made me love Ankush's voice...I had legit cried, my mother got so worried 😆 He is truly the best alumni in years...poor guy can't even confirm his relationship status because of his fan girls. 🤣

If ur in US then try desi tv box or there are various sites like that one...wherever the episodes haven't been deleted u can watch it. But click on the rerun episodes, the original telecast is deleted.

I am trying to get hold of the episodes in India also, but in vain

I watched the re-run too. Many parts and sometimes whole episode were skipped. Don't know what's the problem with SonyLiv. On ZEE5 all the episodes of their recent shows are available.

Thats exactly my point. Even Disney+Hotstar has all episodes of their previous reality show. Sony sucks big time and their app interface isn't the best either.
