India Calling Aashish Kaul

Aashish Kaul, who has just entered the track of Sony's Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, will be soon seen in yet another serial - India Calling on Star One. He will be seen on air from 10 May.

Kaul bags another serial in a span of 10 days

"I play Amy that's Kanika Maheswari's boyfriend in the show. Rohan is actually a married man with a five year old kid, who's going to divorce his wife. It's a very true to life and genuine character," says Aashish.

The actor can be currently seen in Kaisa ye Pyar Hai as Navin Verma, where he is playing a lawyer.

The track of India Calling will take an interesting turn when Rohan enters the scene. Although Rohan is shown to be genuine in his affections for Amy, Chandni will resent their association, leading to a strain in their friendship.
"It's simply because I am a married man, and as she is from Jalandar, she has a different mindset," says Aashish.

This particular track was supposed to air in December, but because of certain issues, got delayed!

Kaul is quite familiar with the India Calling team, as he had worked with Mansi Parekh earlier in Kasauti Zindagi Kay.
