This is the biggest grudge I am feeling towards the show nowadays. The house doesn't feel homely and reddys don't give the vibe of family. Sirf strong actors cast karne se kuch nahi hota. Lost in love S1 had very mid supporting actors but the drama part was so strong and relationship dynamics between them were so entertaining. Even S2 family is so toxic but woh sab ek real family ki feel dete hai. I don't see that with reddys.

Only Sai adrija and chachi scenes hold my attention. Chachi is the only ball of sunshine in that house. I don't have problems with out and out villain or grey characters. Infact I love them for the turmoil they bring in leads life and the intelligence they possess. Rooted for Sonali from her introduction scenes only .

TBvH the Reddys as family had impactful scenes only when they stopped Imlie from entering the house after marriage. Uske baad se unke sare scenes are fuski bomb. No disrespect to the actor

The holi sequence could have been so much better if Chaudharys were present. Dadi giving blessings to Surya Imlie with big smile, chacha Chachi behaving like young lovebirds themselves, Sonali and Chutki trying to lighten up Imlie mood.

Yahan toh malti ke scenes are turning out to be so unbearable. Anjali se I had expectation that she should spice up things in show but her interaction with Imlie and Reddys felt so lukewarm. I would blame it on actress screen presence and dialogue delivery.

Binni had the most weak characterisation but I would never skip her scenes .The actress was really talented. Pity that writers couldn't do justice to her talent. What

I was out at friends place and since the episode is so short not going to write any review. Just adding my 2 cents to your post Suniana.

Unfortunately now the show is in last stages so they are not going to get more actors and they are in cost cutting mode. Earlier any function in Chaudhary's house used to have few outsiders coming in and they used to fill in the screen (for lack of better word) and that used to make us feel the whole thing is real and this is a real family.

Here they have cut the main principal actors to 6 of them and that is why any scene with the Chaudhary house looks very empty. I am also liking only the Chachi as she is a ball of sunshine and very optimistic.

The new third angle Anjali is probably a newbie just like Malti and maybe that is why she costs less so the producers are going to stick by her and we are going to have to accept that Surya was in love with her. Whatever. The problem was the producers wasted so much time after Agastya ka death in weaving a tight story and were not firm on taking one strong storyline. They kept on losing audience and then they extended the Raghu track unnecessarily and now with 1.6 trps there is no way the channel is going to be lenient on the team.

The show is going to run only till SP gets a show to replace it with. It is a pity because Sai is really nailing down Surya ka character too and Adrija is looking so good with him. The angst is finally getting correctly depicted but then the show might end prematurely.

Sorry everyone for spoiling your mood with my negative opinions but mujhe bahut frustration feel ho raha hai about how Surya Imlie story is shaping up.

The team had time and patience to weave a decent story and I guess they all were vested as the show had taken a leap just then and so they used to give really good sequences. The retro vibes and the whole settings were done really well. Now the show is in end stages - therefore the big family is all gone and we are getting shorter duration episodes.

The writing is on the wall. Imlie will not last for long. I just hope the stupid creatives who took a 2+ trp show to 1.6 have courage to give a decent story since it was their master idea to kill the lovable Agastya and get in Surya as the twin brother.

Kuch aur nahi toh utilise their chemistry as much as possible and give us good sequences. Coherent storyline se bhi ab matlab nahi hai mereko. Thodi toh achi memories rahengi hamare pass Surya Imlie ki .

Yes only for Sai and Adrija I want the show to run for a longer time - maybe till June end so that they get a hit show tag. They have already completed 200 episodes. Ab ek 100 episodes aur karlenge toh acha hoga.

Maybe the Don Guru bhai himself who targeted Agastya instead of Surya. We had an outdoor shoot of Adrija and Sai na. Maybe Imlie will go to confront this gangster and will get trapped by the Guru bhai and Surya will save her. So Imlie will know that Agastya was killed because he resembled Surya.

The thing that is so disappointing here, in comparison to other shows that are on the verge of going off air, is how there’s no easy conclusion that would be fair to both Surya and Imlie.

Time is what’s needed for Surya and Imlie’s story to evolve, but it may be the one thing they don’t have.

The TRPs are super low and we’ve basically started afresh with married leads that are barely cordial with one another. They have a lot of potential but something feels amiss in the aesthetics, attires and even the music. They killed off Agastya and it’s as if all the colours left with him, so much so that even Holi feels lifeless on the show.

Imlie loved Agastya with her entire being, she loved so selflessly and with such devotions. You’re telling me she’ll never be able to experience proper love again? I know when the show goes off air and I’ll do my rewatch, that I’ll definitely cry knowing their time together was limited. I miss the bubbly Imlie who was head over heels in love with her Babu.

I’ll go back to being positive in my future posts, because I genuinely am trying to find the good moments.

But right now, this is the vibes I get from Surya and Imlie, if their story ended with them just settling for eachother:

I wish they would give us emotionally intense scenes like this again, especially with Surya being a cop and having enemies. We got a tiny moment in the hospital after she got shot but that was it.

Or do a role reversal where Surya almost dies and Imlie is the one that has to tend to him. Maybe after she learns about Agastya’s death, she could be angry with him. Him getting hurt could be a way for her to soften up towards him. Surya could be affected by her concern as well.

We got a glimpse of that when she ran to stop him from breaking his arm with a little accident in the angaan. (He really was so crazy and unserious for that one though in a almost sweet way)

The show can only last till may end that is also when ipl ends. June is very far. And world cup won't affect shows much as it didn't in the odi world cup as well also the time zone will be different so matches will not hamper shows.
