Imlie is very forgiving when it comes to herself but not when it comes to August Babu.

She was still able to empathize with Vishwa despite all the physical harrassement she faced from him. But whenever he tried to hurt Agastya, she’d hold him accountable. Whether it be when Vishwa almost ran them over with his car or when he tried to shoot Agastya after kidnapping Imlie.

So far she’s forgiven Surya for everything he did to her pre-marriage, whether it be when she was a maid or when he ruined her chances of passing the exam. The marriage is a harder one for her because she feels like he’s taken away her right to be Agastya’s widow.

I’m also not sure how she’ll deal with knowing that Surya was supposed to die that day and not Agastya. We’ll have to see if they drop hints in the upcoming episodes.

The thing is Agastya would have died with the failed brakes by Navya even if there was no Surya in the picture. I feel it would be so wrong to hold him accountable for something he did not do or have a control over. Plus he himself feels the guilt and did things to rectify this in whatever way he could, at the cost of his own dreams.

We’ve seen Sai as Agastya and Surya react to Imlie’s tears, there’s so many emotions swirling through his eyes that you can tell it affected them.

I’m not getting the same vibes for Surya and Anjali scenes, maybe it’a just the chemistry between the actors being off. Adrija and Sai have set the bar pretty high so it’s hard to match that at the moment with the third angle.

I think they want to show us that Surya was in love with Anjali, it’s just not translating well on screen. The way she calls him “Sunny Boy” during emotional scenes doesn’t help either. It doesn’t have the same effect as when Imlie calls him Rowdy Reddy, it’s also a question of voice modulation I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I realized what the problem is - when Imlie calls him Rowdy Reddy she does it in a fun teasing sort of way. She wont call him that ten times during a serious confrontation.

Here the issue is Anjali calls him Sunny boy during normal scenes as well as during a confrontation. It sounds too Nibbi even in a standalone manner and in a wrong setting sounds. Idk if this makes any sense.

Episode was good.. Frankly i just enjoyed only surya imlie scenes be it them running here and there to put color on each other.. That little dance or there car scene .. They all were nice

Baki epi was ok.. Anjali ke liye i feel bad but at the Same time Surya continuously telling her to go or move on toh can she have some self respect and leave you shouldn't be forcing anyone to be with you better move on.

Chachi ke liye bhi felt bad when Chacha gave her an eye when she was about to dance like seriously ghar mein on festival she can't dance hadd hai..

Imlie already knowing about Anjali Wonder how will she going with this.. Will she try to reunite them or something will stop her...

I feel the issue is the actress is falling very short when compared to Sai in acting department. It looks very mismatched as Sai was able to show his displeasure and anger that the truth came out this way whereas Anjali was not able to even portray her dard. Not going to lie Nyonika was 100 times better than Anjali.

Also I feel we did not see any scenes of Surya and Anjali to feel sorry for her - we have to take her word at it. That is where the major disconnect is happening. With Nyonika we saw some sequences of her with Agastya - engagement, them spending some cordial time, then shaadi sequences so we could get Nyonika’s hurt. With Imlie we saw her whole history with Agastya so we can get her hurt. We did not see anything from Anjali - Surya hence not able to get the connect. This is what happens when ex is written suddenly in the story.

Sai was so good today. He really ate and left no crumbs

I watch only for him and I was mighty pleased with his performance and Surya ka character today. I also noticed how different Surya ka behavior is compared to Agastya. The things he did in the Holi sequence, I knew Agastya would do them differently. Ladka needs to chop off the extra hair falling on his chand ka face.

@Gags, I am motivated to watch the movie just by listening to few lines of the song. They need to bring back retro music to the show.

Also I like how Surya called Imlie “mera wife” in the car and she didn’t even stop him.

Granted, she was focused on her goal of getting the truth out but still she let him.

I’m loving these casual domestic pati-patni vibes, it’s bringing me back to their Maha Shivatri shenanigans.

Let me begin by saying, if they can serve so many good plots and twists in one episode.. why can't they do this everyday.. Episode was 20.49 min long, and after last few days of 17 min, this felt like 28 min subjectively...

My poor heart is getting a tiny-miney hope that they can still salvage something.. Amen!!

Alright.. let me begin..

Surya- Imlie Holi shenanigans were so so amazing.. Very glad that I avoided watching all kinds of BTS.. (Adrija can fly so high even in saree and slippers man! )

The intersection of Surya applying colors on Anjali by mistake, and Imlie coming behind him and applying gulaal so cheerfully and with childish happiness, melted by heart.. Ye ladki kitne din baad, finally dil se khush hui hai... (This was way better shot than the promo)..

Chachi telling Imlie about Surya's role in ensuring Imlie's happiness in celebrating holi was so well captured..

Also not her telling Imlie, ki bahar se he is all sakht, and andar se he is quite nice.. (Not me remembering someone similar.. *cough* Akhrot ka Chilka *cough)...

This khadoos Chachaji needs to shower his wife with much much more happiness.. she deserves the world for being this sweet, and beautiful, inside-out.. Khud toh mast thumke laga-lagake dance kar liye, and Chachi ko aankh dikha rahe the.. Double standards!

Surya & Anjali's confrontation in the room, was quite realistically portrayed in my opinion.. Like they didn't go OTT like usual ITV.. Agar sach me kisika dil tootega, they shall not wait for days and days for a face to face real confrontation... Anjali actress was also not bad today, NGL...

Surya ne toh acha khaasa pack kar diya tha Anjali ko, wishing her for a Good Life ahead.. (Aur yahan mere pighalne ki intehaa ho gayi.. )

but but but.. ye Malti ki Baalti, Surya ki har baat taalti..

(Her SS needs to be reduced pls... cos her acting, sahan nai ho paati!)

I didn't expect Imlie to finally see Surya & Anjali hugging.. (Correction- Anjali hugging a stupefied Surya) so soon.. (This is giving me thoda chotu sa darr.. ki kahin again they don't fast forward everything.. )

But the way she was slightly shocked, and then back-stepped... (cos haan biwi hai, toh 1% shock.. but 99% nonchalance)

The ending wala car scene between them was good too... Radio hi sahi.. Koi acha gaana toh sunne ko mila kam se kam..

The way he says.. "Arey haan... Mera biwi mujhe kitne ache se jaanta hai"...

And the brakes, and the hand gesture... I know there's no feeling there, only protectiveness, but bachane ke liye, haath rakhne ka tarike.. kaafi kezzual tha..

Pheww.... Chalo ppl.. Mera dil khush hai aaj.. Finally itne dino baad, subah subah epsiode dekhkar, happy happy feels..

The music switch when Surya applied colour on Anjali instead of Imlie was top notch. The scene felt so much more dramatic.

Also I like how when Imlie applied colours on Anjali that it was on top of Surya’s print, felt symbolic for some reason.
