I was re-watching the payel scene (because why not? it was so dreamy and hot ) And Imlie's question about how long Aryan has been carrying it around clicked with me? Why mention the PD trip in particular?

Is it because that's when she fell in love with him? We did get the song in a female voice after they return from that trip and Aryan grabs her hand to prevent her from leaving when everyone gets busy with welcoming the men and forget all about her. I like to think that's what happened and it makes all the episodes that came right after pretty sweet for me. ❤️ Of course, it would also make the wedding sequence even more heartbreaking in hindsight. Poor girl was being forced by the man she is in love with, who she thought had no feelings for her and was only using her. No wonder she kept asking why he was marrying her. 😭

You are absolutely true. Time and again fans have been demanding CVs to show that when did Imlie actually fall in love as we got nothing in the show and her realisation and feelings were rushed.

So I guess they deliberately mentioned the pd trip as that's when she started falling in love

Yes during pd trip the perception of their relationship started changing slowly ... Be it wen there wer inside the hut while playing aryan unknowingly throws SM's sindoor on her, she giving him her shoulder to him while he was uncomfortable to sleep just like that leaning on the door.. the next morning he standing up for her.. him promising her mother to take care of her even though she herself is enough.. her concern for him to eat hygienic food as he was unwell so she cooked food for him seeing him hesitating.. but was also hungry... Her unknowingly declaring she will. Cook for him her whole life.. the in T house he held her hand while others dnt mind her.. the song depicting her feelings.. and above all her doing tandav was the biggest change and her seeing that he missed her along with his mom and didi .

Then that wistful look in her eyes when the Dhaba cook calls him her husband. I hadn't know what to make of that look and that background music until now.

Also, her entire behaviour in the hut. It certainly was clear that she was over AKT. Sure, she was worried about AKT and after the accidental sindoor situation, she did go crazy trying to get out but that was more from her fear of letting down the T-family. But, most of time she was enjoying her time with Aryan.

If my supposed love was lying somewhere wounded or dying, I certainly wouldn't be teasing my boss/fraand about his hunger and then going out but coming back with sweet potatoes instead of keep going to find my supposed love. Instead, she comes back and then runs around the fire, trying to get Aryan to eat and then falls asleep by his side.
